I've been playing the newly released update 1.0 and the game lag as well as extreme audio stuttering and scratchy noises makes the whole experience terrible. If I could go back to 9.22 I would love to do so. Everything is just so slow, even on minimum settings. Terrible experience so far. The only good thing about the new update is the garage, which is extremely slow to load but the UI feels faster there.

Would like patches or rollback options as soon as possible.

Your right... I was playing yesterday before the update and everything was great. Now, it's installed and I'm looking for a way to rollback to the previous version. They should not have forced this change on us and now I feel cheated, because I've spent money and now I don't want to play with all the lag, low FPS, ect... I'm very pissed off right now.

That most recent update, 1.0 I believe is just the most horrific blunder ever made. I can no longer play this game because the video is 100% crap. The game has been ruined for me. Looks like I`m finished tanking for good!

Wow.

Really?

My 1.0 runs very well at Max settings (not Ultra) on a 3 year old laptop @ 1080.

60 FPS (latest NVIDIA drivers)

No lag (which is your connection more so than the game)

I agree completely, though I will say there are a select few, myself included, who are experiencing some issues when loading into the matches.

"In every battle I have played so far in update 1.0 I load in with less than 5 seconds left until the battle begins. In almost every battle most allied tanks are invisible for the first 10 or so seconds. And in every battle the game freezes at around 30 seconds in for 3-6 seconds. This may be due to the fact that I am running the game on an HDD, but I do not have room for games on my small 125gb SSD and this has never been an issue for any other game."

Once this issue goes away after 1+ min into the match I run it at 60+ fps on high settings on a 2 year old gaming laptop.

Either you have mods that are incompatible and are causing problems (Try vanilla) OR you could have a corrupted game, uninstall and reinstall. Try those two and I you still have problems then Im not sure. My client runs fine.

Wrong. It is a known issue.

in standard WG mental midget fashion...  they CAN NOT put out ANYTHING without screwing up several things..   lag is HORRIBLE, even with a Fiber connection...  the music is PURE TRASH...     not to mention WG is so moronic they managed to screw up the game so bad that repair kits EXTEND arty stun....  i mean seriously how moronic does WG have to be to break the game so baddly EVERY time they do updates????

Yeah, something is wrong here with 1.0

I play other games in 4k that run smoother than 1.0 does in 1920x1080.  It now takes forever to start, I never get into a game before it's already started, the friendly tanks don't appear in-game or on map for about 10 seconds, and about 15-20 seconds into the game after I start, the game locks up and freezes for about 3-4 seconds.   Plus after I exit a map, it takes 10+ seconds to load up the new garage/field.  During which time I don't have the ability to click on anything, and have to just sit at a screen that's trying to load.

I guess it's time to uninstall and spend my money elsewhere.

I no longer can play any low tier tanks that might have machine guns on any map that has a bunch of rapid sounds from the gun or from the braking of scenery. :(
I have tried the old fix of upping the audio quality to 48000 HZ, yet no luck. (BTW, I have absolutely no mods)

I'm experiencing the audio stutter, graphics are nice but hate the changes they've made to the maps. Some of them I feel are ruined.

My son is having problems with the tanks not being there at the start and freezing shortly after the start of the game but I haven't  experienced those problems. I am getting bad fps though.

I just noticed the audio stutter today! Thought I was going crazy or something was wrong with my computer, but my music from iTunes played perfectly, while WoT sounded like someone was pressing the mute button repeatedly in quick succession.

I have tried *so many things* to fix this. Currently, I'm on to the Windows 10 1709 update being possibly related? Maybe?

I have done the reinstall thing and I have setting as low of fidelity as possible.

What someone else mentioned makes sense to me. I can start a game and it is fine then when the action gets heavy (driving, shooting, being shot) suddenly the audio starts stepping. If I go find a secluded area the sounds seem to get better but the instant you engage again it is back.

Might give up until they fix it.

This is the same for me - when lots of red tanks spotted the audio stutters, lag increases, ping rises - basically the game becomes nearly unplayable. I think what frustrates me more is the total silence from WG - if it is a know issue then lets talk about it.

So every evening when I start the game my first match is an auto loss - usually the map loads 4-5 MINUTES into the match, and usually my tank is already dead without moving or firing a shot. AutoLoss. And not fair to my team members...

Subsequently the load times improve, with the tank appearing a minute or less into the match. Eventually as the evening continues it becomes almost normal, appearing with 10 seconds prior to start.

Still playable, even losing my first (or first 2-3) matches without doing a thing, I enjoy the game. But, yah, needs to be fixed in a big way.  It's KILLING my stats, which were nothing great to begin with.

Lower your graphics settings to minimum and you'll be fine.
