One of my all time favorite things to do was to go to E5 on Fjords and duke it out with the people up the hill, or if I spawned on the west, to go to E5 and shoot downhill etc.  It was an awesome way to go against the grain of going north and getting sniped from unspotted camping TDs in E7 while also not being forced into the awful corridor in J5.  I loved it.

That is no longer possible.

Spoiler

All the trees are gone.  TDs snipe you as you try to make it to the hill for cover.  Once you get there you are right out in the open for the people in town forcing you into the hole.  Unless you are a Swedish Heavy you cannot poke out of the hole to shoot people.

I honestly do not understand these changes at all or how they are supposed to improve gameplay.  Please make Fjords great again.

I like the changes to Fjords so far, although I've hardly played on it. I'll need to play on it more to see what I think of the changes as a whole.

You'll just have to find a new fave spot.

Try going north, or south, or middle, and you will realize it's the same awful map as before but now they force you to play it their way.

Hmm let's see, go north and get killed out in the open because there is literally no cover what so ever.   Or go south to the ever so awesome heavy tank corridors that are just so good for the game and engage type 5 heavies at close ranges.  Man either one of these options just sounds so dynamic it'll be hard to choose between going to these new exciting places or drowning myself.  Old Fjords was hands down my favorite thing in world of tanks period.  Only tiers that don't get it are tier 1 and 2.  Guess I know what tiers I'm playing until the map gets removed.

Resistance to change is a common thread among we humans.

Time will heal your 'wound'.

Time, and experience finding your new spots to hunt from. :honoring:

oh boo hoo !!   Just treat it as a new map, forgetting the Fjords of old.   Explore for new 'favorite spots' instead of whining on the forums about how wargaming ruined your favorite camping spot on a given map.    *hands you a hankie*

Until any of you can actually point out a good spot to go to any arguments suggesting I should "find a new spot bro" will be ignored outright.
