It's been 3 months since the event ended on April 6th. (actually 2,or 2 and a half I think, my counting is no good tonight)

The extra zero was hopefully a typo.  A CNN worthy moment.

Just a little timeline reminder...

The event has ended on April 6th.

Prize claiming mail was sent by WG to the winners at the very begining of the May. Many of these prize claiming mails were sent after the ppl opened a ticket to a WG support.

Now we are at the middle of June and nothing is happening.

The rules of the Extravaganza marathon says:

"First Prizes and Extra Prizes will be delivered by Intel Corporation (2200 Mission College Blvd. Santa Clara, CA 95052) to the winners by July 1, 2018."

http://legal.na.wargaming.net/en/grand-extravaganza-marathon-rules/?_ga=2.41341090.1698104426.1528869625-1183912746.1522387598

I think that if the Intel was to follow the rules of the event, they need to start sending ASAP... Because these rules apply to all the servers - NA as well as EU and RU. Since the prizes will be sent from California, USA, there is no way parcels will arrive to Russia by July 1. I doubt it will be sent by some express delivery method because it is expensive...

I just hope that this will not be another WG disaster...

Well I am kind of hoping they are late so we can complain and they compensate us with a guaranteed 8700k, or maybe even the new limited edition 8086k CPU. What? Can't I dream?

Just a thought. When they planned this event we knew exactly what was being given away. 4 laptops and 1000 I7 processers? So It took 3 week after the event ended to name the winners. At this point 5 weeks from the start of the contest, how is it they didn't already have all of the prizes assembled in boxes waiting for shipping label's? I mean who holds a contest without having the prizes already in hand? It should have taken them no more then 2 days to print out 1004 shipping labels and send them off. That said I see absolutely zero chance of these being delivered by the date stated in the rules. WG Please prove me wrong? 7/1 is a Sunday so as of this moment they have 12 business days to get them to your door. What's more 753 of them are going overseas my personal experience with international shipping leads me to expect 6-8 weeks for those. I'm really not complaining as I wont be starting a new build until the end of the summer anyway. It just seems like no one knows what's going on or perhaps they just don't care.

The message we are expecting is a tracking number that you can put into the carrier's website like USPS or FedEx to follow where your package is and when it will arrive. It shouldn't be anything you have to reply to so the email you got was either a scam, or a message advertising some kind of event for WoT (the only emails I got from WG was either from wot@mail-na.wargaming.net or no-reply@worldoftanks.com).

No let me dream at least for a little longer! I do not want to face the reality that Intel and WG only cares for themselves and will not bother helping us because we did not pay them anything :(

If you were to send a ticket they will tell you Intel is controlling prize payouts. Now if you contact Intel they will inform you that WG is in charge of prize fulfillment.

Yeah it is really funny how disorganized this is. Surely WG moderators is seeing this yet still will not be doing anything to inform us here and if we try sending a ticket to either Intel or WG like you said they will just point you to the other company saying their the ones responsible. Hope they realize that we will hold both accountable and both will get bad press if they fail to meet the july 1st deadline. I can already see Jingles and/or Quickybaby having an opinion on it, after all their screwing over 1004 people.

Bad press doesn't do anything, don't you know it's all fake news?  I mean look at Sony with the fortnight thing, they just don't care and are really pissing people off.

If bad press did not matter to WG then Jingles would still have been a WoT community contributor, after all it was the fact that he could not get a guarantee from WG that he would not be punished for talking bad about the game which led him to leave the program. WG punished one of the community contributors for ranting about a tank and WG got mad because of it and punished that contributor and that is why Jingles cared so much about that problem that he was willing to leave it himself.

I know about that, but it didn't do much, Jingles still makes videos about Wargamming games and most of the rest of the CC peeps haven't changed much.  We all still play the games, I mean they may have lost a small subset, but it wasn't enough to make them make changes.

Like i sad bad press doesn't do much these days, it takes a lot of bad press for something to be done.
