Say hello to Ft,. Worth (When Tandy was something back then) and Houston (Compaq was the top seed in the PC market in the 80's/90's) when you get a chance to visit.

Hiya! I will definitely have to check those out :) Sounds like a good plan for a weekend road-trip.

WG needs more dog people....

^..I agree...:D No offense, Gnomon

None taken! I love dogs. Which is great, because it seems like everyone in Austin has a giant dog or four. I think my friends are already tired of me pointing out all the dogs I see every time we go somewhere :B

Another new guy? Welcome, I told Domo yesterday that we'd give him the day off and then ready our pitchforks and torches..... I'd give you the same offer but well....no way we can keep civil around here for more than 24hrs.

Jokes aside....welcome and good luck.

Glad you love dogs, too. And hey, if you ever go through another forum 'makeover', you could always put a Corgi in your avatar.

SO there is really no other place to say this in the forum and it wont let me start a new topic so hopefully as a staff member you will relay this to the rest of the staff.

I've been playing tanks for a long time, enough time to get about 35 tank spaces on my account. I've gotten my wife hook on this game and we've played it together over a few years now. We actually appreciate tanks in real-life, even visited a few. It was a game we could kill time with, literally.

We use to enjoy this game, back when detection was a huge aspect to it and there wasn't a flood of play 2 win tanks on the field. When we first started you could earn a brand new tank, play it and have a chance to do something with it in a match. The game involved aspects of teamwork, where now its mostly every man (or squad) for itself, and who can fire the most premium shells off, which translate to bumrushing the middle. Plain and simple, we don't enjoy our time with it now. 2 out of 3 matches we are at the bottom, so we get no where. The 1 out of 3 matches where we are in the middle or top tier, is still not satisfying. I'm not refering to the grind either, rather the in-ability to compete with over power tanks bought with no real intention to level but merely to just fill like a winner because you used your wallet and not your brains.

I understand your a gaming company and needed to make money, but it's in my professional opinion that this micro-transaction pay to win aspect is slowly destroying your game. The only real challenge is buying the next better tank and......ooo yea it stops there. I feel the better way to keeping the game interesting and/or challenging would have been to developing new aspects to the war itself. There hasn't been any real chance to the aspect of the game, other than graphics and making it easier for new players to get involve (Which I also understand to an extent). Instead of making 3 seperate games (warplanes, wareships and tanks), you could have introduced them in together. Planes in the air could have lead to anti-aircraft tanks, ships at sea would have made taking shelter more important, anything but releasing new OP tanks and rebalance, new tank - rebalance (repeat indeifintely).....there hasn't even been a new type of battle. There isn't just 3 types of battle scenarios involved in war.

In the grand scheme of your business, losing me and my wifes play time wont hurt your business at all because we've hardly forked over any money in the years we've played, mainly cause we're not p2w players. Thats why we don't buy EA crap, but like EA you've lost our interest and I would find it hard to believe that others aren't feeling the same way. I'm not trying to sound rude or insulting but I felt someone in the company should hear our opinion, maybe before its too late, before all the milk drys up and this game just becomes another memberberry slogan.

changes made over my time playing includes maps, graphics, squads, "enhanced training", single player stories, crew and newer tanks (mercinaries, countries and premium all count in the last one). Thats basically since it launched on console. There hasn't even been a new tank type.
