I am just wondering why the premium tanks that can't be bought (T28 HTC, Stug IV, T55A, T95E2, Foch 155, etc) are so expensive to repair? I just ran 3 tanks, the T25 Pilot (8k repair bill), the T95E2 (15k repair bill) and the Panther II (13.4k repair bill) in order to check the costs. It seems to me there were a few regular premiums with high repair costs as well (maybe the AT15A?). Just curious if this is broken, or working as intended, and if working, why the difference in cost?

Do damage and win, repair cost taken care of.  Potato out and pay the price for potato-ing out.

That's not the point, please quit trolling, I was looking for an answer.

More data, Foch 155 20k repair, Foch B 22K repair. T55A 18k repair Leopard PTA 15k. the AT15A and T38 were 6k and 6.6k respectively.

I provided an answer, take less damage, deal more damage, less repair cost.  Those premiums are also not "normal" premiums, they are not built around credit earning and as such have higher operating costs than your traditional premium.

No, you failed to answer the question, and provided a L33Tist response. I asked WHY, NOT how to offset.

I did answer why in my edit.  They aren't your standard premium tanks.  They aren't meant for earning credits.

Thank you for the answer, but I still want to know why they are NOT "credit earners", they are premiums, they should be, especially after putting REAL effort into earning them, not just playing wallet warrior to buy them...

Because they are reward tanks, reward tanks isn't the same as premium tanks, despite showing up as premium tanks in the game.

There's 2 types of premium tanks: reward and purchaseable.  The reward for the premium reward tanks is the tank itself.  It's not common and accepts crews like a premium tank.

I guess that's all I got there?  It'd be nice if those premiums brought in the ducats like the credit ones, but I dunno.  Because Wargaming?  No fun for us?  I'mma go with no fun allowed myself.

My point precisely, which is why i was hoping for someone from WG to chime in as to if this is broken or not. If they give the same answer, fine... sort of... not really... It's DUMB!!

Yeah the answer is those are "reward tanks," not "premium tanks." The reward tanks do not get the xp or credit boost of a premium. And the reason why is in your second post. The tanks you pay for (wallet warrior for) have long term tangible benefits. Sort of like buying a premium account. Its all part of the pay-to-advance model.

Reward tanks are a scam

But there are ways to earn premium time (the same campaign that rewards the tanks), so shouldn't the reward tanks be on par with the other rewards?

The StuG IV, T28 HTC, T-55A and Obj 260 aren't premium tanks as they don't earn extra credits and such, but reward tanks. So they don't have to follow the general trend of premiums costing less to repair.

The reward is the tank itself, not any premium benefits that come with vehicles that were actually purchased.

There are special vehicles which are earned through special events like clan wars (tier 10 ones anyways) or personal missions, which do not make premium credits and primarily exist for bragging rights and/or crew training. Everything else that has been available for gold or purchase via premium store have premium money making.

I, for one, enjoy my T-55A, my VK7201 and occasionally my T28 HTC. I lose a lot of money in the VK per game because it's a tier 10, but I find it a very enjoyable vehicle to play. It's not a scam, you underwent missions to get these vehicles and you were rewarded with them. Be thankful you even have the option to unlock them smfh

The T25 pilot seems to make a lot less profits than a Patriot tank even if firing all standard ammo. They should make about the same since they both use a 90 mm gun but nope...

They AREN'T premium tanks, they are reward tanks.  The only premium feature they have is the ability to train crews I believe.  No increased profits, no reduced costs.

Seems to me like some of the reward tanks definitely need some changes.  I almost never play my T28 HTC... just doesn't feel very fun to play.

Wallet warrior?  The guys buying tanks allow for welfare warriors to play for free, you should thank them.

I have bought a few myself, for credit earning purposes, but I have earned most through on tracks and other events. And FYI for 4 years I was existing solely on my fixed VA income myself, so couldn't afford game time very often. I was trying to emphasize the fact that real effort was put into the reward tanks, not just having money thrown at it.
