Hey y'all, I'm looking for Milky's old M46 KR skin. It was one of my favourites, and his site is gone, and he seems to have decided not to reupload it on wgmods. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Any non-game camouflage paint schemes add nothing to the concealment/camouflage of a tank, whereas the in-game camouflage paint schemes do and can make a huge difference in whether we win or lose.  Why would you want to throw away that advantage?

First of all, 3% is not "huge." Second of all, the m46 KR has it's own in game permanent camo scheme, so a skin changes nothing to its camo value. Thirdly, because it looks a million times better. but thanks for the "help."

I can't remember the name of it but there used to be a Russian site that had tons of all the latest skins and such.  If you could find the name of it and check it out, I wonder if you could find what your looking for there.  I wish had more 411 for ya.

for anyone else interested, I may have found it in two places. I haven't tried either of these yet, so can't verify them.

https://www.bing.com...tiger&FORM=IGRE     you do know the M46 is actual historical paint job.....not sure why you would want to change it. It was a paint scheme for the 6th Tank Battalion in 1951, the scheme was applied to other pieces of armor as well.

After doing some research, both variants are historically accurate. M1lkym4ns version is based on the m46 Patton found at the Bovington Tank Museum, found in the following images:

First of all, it's not 3%.  It's 2% - 4%, depending on the class of tank it's used with.  Removing the in-game camouflage paint protection removes the bonus to concealment it provides and throws away the huge advantage it provides.

Camouflage paint has many benefits.  Camouflage paint visually hides a tanks weak spots, i.e. drivers and machine gunners view ports, turret hatches, etc., making it much harder for enemy tanks to see them and shoot them.  By itself, this can save your tank and win a battle and that's huge.

Camouflage paint helps keep your tank from being spotted and lit up on the enemy minimap for the entire enemy team to see, which is bad enough, but it's also especially valuable in avoiding enemy artillery fire.  If your tank is not lit up on the enemy minimap because you're using camouflage paint, then enemy artillery can't see you to shoot you.  When your tank is spotted and lit up on the enemy minimap, camouflage paint gets your tank off of the enemy minimap up to 50% faster than if it didn't have camouflage paint.  That's huge.

Camouflage paint increases the concealment rating of your tank, which means enemy tanks have to come closer before spotting your tank.  If the enemy tank doesn't have camouflage paint but your tank does, this means it's likely that you will see the enemy tank before they see you, which provides you the huge first-shot advantage, which can lead to a second shot, crippling or blowing up the enemy tank.  This not only can win that single engagement, it can win the entire battleThat's huge.

Camouflage paint generates more wins and a win pays out 2-3 times more silver coins and XP than for a loss.  So it pays for itself.  Also, with a tank not being seen so easily and not being shot up because of camouflage paint, this means lower tank repair costs, saving huge quantities of silver coins.  We can buy camouflage paint using silver coins.  Generally, we earn enough silver coins in one battle to pay for camouflage paint on a tank for an entire day.  That's very low cost. Camouflage paint is a win-win.  :)

Oh my god how dumb can you be? M46 KR DOESN'T HAVE CAMO. I'M NOT REMOVING ANYTHING YOU INCOMPETENT [edited]. It's just like the Defender, or the Patriot, or the Skorpion G, or the STG Guard, or any of the other tanks with permanent paint jobs.

And that's proving you wrong without me even having to discredit your points, all of which are at best misguided, and at worst just plain wrong.

But I should probably expect as much seeing as someone who is clearly an arty main, having 2k battles in a freaking Bishop, is trying to teach an actual player how camo affects their tank. lmbo.

Oh and additionally, just thought you should know: putting on an external skin does not remove the in game camo regardless of tank type or Wargaming applied paint jobs. It is applied on top of in game camo, client side, so only the person using the skin will see it, everyone else will see the camo. So literally your entire argument is invalid.

^Checkmate^ Also, side note, I wouldn't download Milky's skins from other sites, those versions are older and possibly outdated, also not authorized by Milky, so download and install at your own risk.

Thanks Browntown, I remember you, glad your still a fan!! Yeah I believe he stopped supporting the KR and other WT imports. Aslain has all of his up to date remodels though theyre also on WGMods hub. At some point I'm gonna have to package my stuff in work of format and get it all on the hub as well, but I'm still working on redoing my older ones and updating for customization system.
