  HYPOTHETICALLY (because trying to explain stats to people with their stats gets your post deleted as shaming....)  If SOME UNNAMED PERSON (this is a fictional example presented to the above quoted OP) happened to average 140 damage per game in tier 8s, and then had a 40% winrate in that tier.... it would seem there could PERHAPS be some correlation between input and result?

no. the game is designed to not let this person do any better. it is keeping him down as he is in the loser pool and nothing he can do to change that. it is predetermined from the moment you register your account on here.

I was just using that as an analogy to the 'it all evens out in the end' argument.  At times it simply doesn't.

Skill and the team you're on may mitigate an RNG that 'has it out for you', but if you're on a bad team, even if you're the WOT equivalent of Nolan Ryan or Brady, odds are you're gonna lose.

Hence why your 'battle' is heavily influenced by the simple 'roll of the die'.

At times it simply doesn’t even out?

At times it does not even out, and those are generally referred to as streaks. Expected.

The more matches played the more likely it does start evening out. That is the simple fact.

As someone who has been playing the same tank for a year stuck at 48%, yes the matches are rigged. In the last 2 months, I was able to climb up to 50% now that I have an understanding of how preferential MM works.

Is that a typo or have you been playing the same tank every battle for a year ?

That's insane.

Do more than one shot of damage then we can talk about the game being rigged against you you are almost never doing anything useful for your team with a avg dmg of 242 you arnt being a valuable part of your team

this game has so many variables dependent on randomly generated odds, that it doesn't always even out.

The Law of Large numbers disagrees with you.

Over a large sample, the important variables WILL even out and the only difference will be you, the player (which is NOT a variable, you are the only constant in all your battles) , because MM does not sort by or even look at player skill when it makes teams.

Also... dice rolls are just as predictable as coin flips, it just takes more rolls than coin flips to see the results due to so many more possible outcomes with dice. If dice were not totally predictable the game of craps would not exist in legit casinos.

The dice being predictable is how they set the odds of getting a hard 8 vs. an easy 8 for instance.

I went 100% vanilla and did away with XVM and all mods back in February.  Since then I have really had a lot less stress with the game and have done better.

Over the last 4 or 5 days I've noticed something really strange.  Each time we have someone say the match was a sure loss and MM screwed us, we have no chance (etc etc)...we have won those each time.  Over and over I see that and later in the game someone talking about how they cant believe we won the match.

Just get rid of it and play the game.  Its much more fun without obsessing over ever 5 minute stretch.  Look at your numbers over a few days or a week and it is a better indication of how you are doing than seeing all the mad swings from one match to the next.  If you are one of the folks who despairs at the beginning of the match, do away with  your mods and XVM.  You'll enjoy the game much more.

Rigged.. in such a way that a crap player like me, can pull off a 10,000+ wn8 match in an M5 Stuart, guess what I actually read the map, shot when I needed to, move back to reset and kill the cappers on our flag.. Died to a B2 heavy lost 15-14 with 4 kills of my own.. Have the screen shot at home.

lol yes, it is very OCD. I'm trying to get every tank I play 50% or above but for some reason this one tank won't let me. My wotlabs says it all.

Game is obviously rigged. The number of winners is always 15. The pattern is clear.

Game isn't rigged, but if you have XVM you certainly can tell who on the other team jerks off as they point and click with gold rounds without having to aim.

I myself am trying to buy my first T9 and I doubt I have fired more than 100 gold rounds total through my WoT career.
