IMO

France: LOL the B1

Germany: They had good tanks :) (they just got sabotaged in reality)

America: They didn't make good tanks, but that 105 mm in WOT makes people biased

Britain: The battle's already over by the time they get there

Russia: The definition of overcrowding

Japan: ....no explanation required

Italy: Also none required

Germany had great minds and engineering, but poor implementation and poor materials later on.

Russia made garbage, but they made lots of it.

America made the M4, and that one's nicknamed the Ronson for a reason

Britain made good vehicles but you could say they weren't the "meta"

France made excellent vehicles, but didn't have radios, people trained to use them optimally, or even command informed enough to utilize them well (my personal favourite)

Lol Japan

Lol even more Italy

Germany made the more fearsome tanks during WWII.  I'm not sure it's even close.

the early german werent bad, as it turned out if they came against something heavier, mostly they would find their guns ineffective, what made them stand apart, early is the radio. later the next tanks they started to work on from drawing boards, for one they over engineered, that esp where the russians lept ahead, simplicity. the t34 and later the 85 has got to be the greatest thing to come out of it(tank wise). they and some of the other mid-war and later russian designs werent garbage, they were probably not operator comfortable. those tanks won the war(the bulk of it).

Don't forget that Pershings, IS-3s and Centurians were all in production before the end of WW2

Germany built some nice tanks, but it was the typical over engineered German BS, so mechanical reliability was awful, they lost more tanks to breakdown than to enemy fire.

American mass production built a crap load of Shermans, but they were only good because the allies had air supremacy by the time they made it into battle.

By far the most innovative tanks of the war were built by the Russians. the T-34 was the best tank of the war and completely changed tank design.

Germany;crowning achievement of their tank thought was the StuG IIIG and an overengineered copy of T-34/85, the Panther.A smattering of designs ranging from idiotic (King Tiger,Maus) to futuristic (Panther II Uhu).

France; sadly, WW I mentality prevailed.

USSR; T-34/85M, the tank to end all tanks, and the base of all modern MBT lines. Also, lots.

US; superb automotive engineering and optics.

Japan; mentally still at Khalkin-Gol in 1945.

Italy; brave men rode in M13/40's against Shermans.

Britain; The designers wanted so much to protect their men after the horrors of WW I, and were so inept at it.

Actually I think the British founded the MBT with the Centurion.

America would've had the M26 Pershing heavy tank as well, if not for the nay-say of some ground commanders

And that tank is a beast

to me is germany, good tanks, they outsmarted all nations, there was an ace tanker who drove a tiger and could take out convoys of any nation by snipping at them, taking out the first tank of the line then the last one. It wasn't a matter of he using a tiger because he did it with a stug as well and was amazing, people even today try to claim that their nation took him out the f**** cowards could only kill him with a huge ambush from all sides, planes, tanks and artillery...they didn't had the balls to go hand to hand with him.

You will not see any other ace tanker like him

Soviets made 35,000+ T-34s.

Germans produced less than 500 Tiger IIs.

They made less than 9000 Pz IVs including all variants.

The PZ IV was the most prolific German vehicle of WW II after the StuG III, about 10k units were produced.

The mighty Maus was a prototype that was only fully completed once maybe twice and a few spare parts.

Germany never had a chance with their limited resources.

Excellent (over ) engineering, but not enough resources, fuel or men to ever have really had a chance to win.

Probably shouldn't have turned on Uncle Joe either.

If you think Germany had good tanks you might want to lay off the kool aid because their tanks were notorious for breakdowns and far too complex.

First Pershing that landed in Europe near the end of the war, was shot out by a single Tiger shot, from a Tiger, doing what Tigers do (hiding in foliage and taking enemies out at +1km. ranges)

By that definition, the M1 Abrams is a garbage tank, since its engine is redundantly complex (even though the idea is simple) and unnecessary, and the cause of the majority of breakdowns.
