So I am having a fun time with the BatChat so far in its abilities as a scout, sniper, assassin and SURVIVOR!

The Bat.-Châtillon 12 t leads to the Bat.-Châtillon 25 t AP, the AMX 30 1er prototype, and the AMX 13 90.

So, the question is which one so I grind out first? I plan on taking ownership of all three and eventually their Tier Xs too.

What is your take on any of these 3 tanks in terms of playstyle, effectiveness, WNR and enjoyment???

Which one would YOU grind out first and why?

In tier 9 the amx30 proto is good, but the 10 is eh.  BC25t is probably best/most useful tier 10 of the lot, especially if you want to use the resulting tank in organized play at all.  For pubbing... kinda more personal choice.

I had the 13 90 already from when it was tier 8 on way to 25T. Currently playing the 12T to again try to get to the BatChat 25T.

I just looked up the review by Foch and I am salivating picking it up later today. I will fully upgrade all the modules as I have a tonne of free XP.

In the spiri of the movie “the Martian”, let’s science the s**t out of this. You say you like the 12t. That means you like the French auto loader style. That should immediately put the 30 at the bottom. That is unless you like the German high tier leopards a lot. The 30 is a close equivalent to the leopard 1.

So now we’re left with the 13-90 or the 25AP.

If you enjoy being sneaky and stealthy and  scouting more than the job as late game cleanup crew then the 13-90 is the tank for you. If you enjoy clipping out enemies, zipping around and ambushing then the 25 is your choice.

Both can perform in the other’s role, they just emphasize different strengths. I did enjoy the 13-90 more than the 25AP, though I enjoyed them both. I just realized that with my skill set (or skill deficiencies more accurately), I was more of a help to the team as a  scout. When running the 25AP the need for me to carry enough damage could not be backed up by my abilities to deliver said damage. Being the eyes of the team suited me better. And when late game cleanup time arrived I could farm some damage.

So for me I’d rank them

13-90

25

30

though a just as viable ranking is

25

13-90

30

the 30 (apparently since I haven’t played it myself) isn’t a bad tank per se. it just doesn’t continue the play style of the 12t.

wow. THANK YOU. That was a good coles notes summary on all three.

Although I am committed to the 25 t, you convinced me to grind the 30 as the second grind. It has more of a diverse playstyle to the 25 t than the 13 90 and your leopard 1 comparison intrigued me.
