This tank is seriously unbalanced.

Yet another Russian Tank that comes out WAY TOO op that Wargaming doesn't bother to fix for a few months until people stop playing.

I think it just needs its mobility turned down a bit, and add ACTUALLY weak-spots to it.

You say that like it's honestly not that much. What you said basically amounts to "nerf everything but the gun and the view range", which, btw, is pretty much what it needs.

I'm going to start the grind after these Italian tank missions are done, I can finally get TD-15 for the Obj 260 done easily

>WG Community: "The Obj 268 v4 is a bit too overpowered, it needs to get knocked down a notch."

>WG Staff: "Huh? What? You want it buffed?"

>WG Community: "No.. We said it needs a ne-

>WG Staff: Buffs turn radius "There we go, how about now?"

>WG Community: "NO! STO-"

>WG Staff: Buffs DPM "Now its perfect."

The 268 v4 is OP? Wow.

And in other breaking news, grass is green, and the POTUS is orange.

This MONSTROSITY was keeping pace with my Medium tank doing 55KPH.  A super fast 70 ton plus tank, with GOD ARMOUR frontally.. and good gun. Add it to the list of game breaking tanks. This thing is RAMPAGING over every thing. With the channeling maps like HimmelDORK, Ensk, Mines and many others. With a back up speed equal to of a medium tank. With a TINY 250mm thick spot on top  of the GOD armored front hull and with an equally tiny strip of 250mm armor on the bottom plate. How the hell do you defeat it ?

The Real problem is it is impenetrable on the lower plate even with gold rounds played a game earlier today in my object 257 spammed 5 gold rounds into the unangled lower plate and not a single one penned. Just remove the tanks mobility and give it actual weakspots or nerf the lower plate because as of right now the thing is basically invincible in 3 5 7 matchmaking.

Its just proves that wargaming doesnt test tanks properly before releasing them. Whenever i play arty i always focus the object 268 v4 first because i know any decent player using this machine will wipe out half your team its just ridiculous.

Crappy glass tracks that any tank shell will knock off

and a long repair time are the biggest drawbacks of this tank

There are many tanks that have some op aspect to them..

I guess you don't own it so you are crying perhaps?

Have you ever tried to turn this tank around?

It takes 2 football fields

This tank need a mobility buff to its turning radius!

It has a weakspot but you need gold to pen it and the damn central area of it is far too small. Its kind of like trying to hit that small MG turret on top of the Jag100 which many don't know exists.

In case anyone doubts me take a look

No this tank needs a buff... God damnit for once i own a OP tank ;-). By the time i got my grille it was nerfed, same with my T110E5.

In all seriousness, yes the mobility must be reduced a bit. Armor is decent, people who complain about armor are the ones who does not know the weak spots. Aim for the top hatches, lower plate. I have had no issues killing these tanks when i meet them.

You can drop the misleading facts, the tank is beyond broken and the only weakpoint on it frontally is the viewport hatch which takes gold to pen...

The extremely angled parts of the hull (above and below the main glacis) are only strong because they're ricochets, they can be penned if and only if you're using HEAT, and I want to say that it's about 250 effective (which is why HESH is no good). So it's still RNG if you're in a tier 8, but if you're in a tier 8 and have any reason to shoot at this thing from the front, then something's gone seriously wrong.

Part of me slowly dies inside whenever I face a 264 in my ISM which only has APCR with 240 pen and that isn't even enough to pen the viewport hatch on top.

This is part of why I try not to play 8s without pref now. Fortunately, the Type and T-34-3 are fun, and the 112 is almost as obscenely broken as the defender, as long as you spam HEAT.

By the time you get it, WoT's will do what they did to people who ground down the French TD line to get the Foch 155. Put a Huge thin target on the top that a T6 gun can pen. Take a round away from your auto loader. Then turn the tank into a SLUG.

Man it backs up as fast as a medium tank. Plus you only have to turn a round on open maps. 75% of the time you're on channeled maps where you only having to worry about whats in front of this MONSTROSITY !

if it requires Premium Ammunition, then it really isn't an ACTUAL weak-spot.
