was trying to follow allies before they were rolfstomped and "saw" this invisible enemy

was almost too late to snap the screenshot

Well it is an ELC even.

I had an IS-3 get closer than that in mine last night without being spotted. Poor IS-3 got hammered.

Looks like you were on the edge of the proxy spotting.  Crazy how good the camo is on those things.

75 meters is only about 250 feet. Any vehicle, even a bicycle, in direct line of sight should be visible at that distance. This is just a reminder that invisibility cloaks are real in video games. Reality does not apply.

And the game's spotting mechanic spots everything in line of sight per those rules whether any crewmember in a buttoned up tank is actually looking in that direction or not.  It's a game mechanic, not a sim.
