It’s dead, may or may not ever come back. There’s a player-run Community League that’s the same format, but no sheriff accounts of course.

I took the survey today regarding tournaments.  Maybe WG is starting to change their minds about the NA community.  I wrote, as a suggestion, that to bring back the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Leagues and there be a tournament to determine who would fall into what category (for those that are serious competitors).

Take the survey... send WG YOUR thoughts.

o7 all

If they actually listened to the surveys, arty would have been gone years ago.

I think offering shorter tournament seasons would work. It was a ton of work, and offering some sort of 3 mini-season tournament, standings combined rank you for playoff, might be nice. Some of these players would play hard for 3 weeks, if they thought they could secure 1st place, then get to sit out until a playoff.

The game has definitely shifted towards the casual, and any new league needs to reflect that, as many of us who started this game in college now have to work and do real life stuff. But, I bet that it would still pull viewers, and anytime you hit a couple hundred, or thousand viewers on twitch, it's pretty good marketing. People will see it and maybe try your game.

Tanks has some solid fundamental gamework, it's just competitive play that they constantly screw up.
