I've played most tanks in the game. Td's are tedious. Good in corridors/cities with a team that can cover your butt and without too many enemy arty around. I think of them as crocodiles. Sneaky, deadly, and easy to avoid if you're nimble. They're the second most dependent tank class with the first going to arty. They reward patience and a team that knows how to work with them. As far as the T30 or T95, both have advantages and drawbacks. T30 is good ambusher and big alpha, good on ridge line support mode. The T95 has awesome frontal armor, good for assaulting with hvy tank backup. It's also terribly slow and if you lose your tracks your like the Bismarck when it had it's rudder damaged. With no turret and a small gun arc it can be a painfully slow way to die.

For cool looks factor the T95 wins hands down. It's one of the coolest looking tanks in the game.

It depends on what you want. The T30 is faster, and it has has good gun depression and a very hard turret. The T95 is super slow, you have to turn the tank to turn the gun, and in the open it can be circle jerked by almost everything. On some maps you'll get to the fight too late to do much good. The side will be decided for you unless both teams are full of people who're scared to get shot.

I'm grinding the T30 right now and I have to say at least once a match, often twice and sometimes more I either bounce a shot off a thin skinned tank or the shot drops for a non-pen track shot. Get so frustrated with one of the highest penetration ratings in the game and it seems to matter little because of RNG. It's fun to deck someone for 750+ when it works though.

Grinding the T95 right now, but got many of the upgrades from other tanks.
It is great.

everyone needs to play the T95 and T30 in their careers. they are two quite unique tanks that require different thinking and playing them teaches you how to deal with them.

T95's mobility is actually pretty decent now, so you can actually get somewhere.

Personally, I enjoy both T95 and T30.  Why not play both?

T95 for tight corridor Maps,  T30 for open Maps with Hills   :great:

Just get both as eventually you will need to grind through both and both tanks thanks to the 155mm gun has a significant fear factor that isn't ignored even by tier 10s especially once apcr becomes a factor. Take them to brawling spots and feast on super heavies should you get the chance! I don't moan at all about Type4s and Type 5s as they make for nice piles of easy xp.

I'm still working my way to the T95 but the T30 currently is my favorite TD just because of its 155mm gun, nothing beats the feeling of doing 790 alpha damage. I play the T30 like a tier8 heavy and do quite well in it. Camo rating sucks compared to other TDs so no point camping and hiding behind bushs. Great at face hugging heavies or hull down position so they can't shoot at the hull. Does not do well against mediums and lights just because of the traverse speed and DPM. Not sure if i will enjoy the T95 as much since it's so slow and i always see it being tracked, if i was in that situation all the time i'll probably get too frustrated and go AFK.

IMO? T95.  I love that beast of a tank.  So glad I ground out that line.

Dont know if I’ll ever grind up to the t30; tempted but #1 I have so many good tier 9 tanks already and #2 The T34 (a similar tank) struggles at tier 8, not sure its older “brother” will do much better.

I did most of my TD grinding way back when, before changes to spotting (camo changes after firing) and the derp changes (loved my 10.5 Hetz).  I really struggle with the turretless TD's now, having to fire and relocate is a pain in the [edited]when you have to traverse before you can move (usually).  So I am going up to the T30, at this rate it will likely be power crept to nothing by the time I get there, but for now I am using the T28 prot... and all I can say is the gun suffers from Rngivitus, my stats say I only hit with it 67% of the time... it sure feels like I miss alot more than that.  Anyways finding it painful, I hope it gets better once I finally reach the T30... but I perhaps shouldn't hold my breath.

I didn't enjoy the T28 Prot as much as the T28 (T28 seem to be more consistent with its pens) but i do enjoy the T30 more than the two combined. RNG still can be a BTCH but just so satisfaying to derp a shot into another tank.

Both well worth playing.  If you want a turret, get the 30.  If you want to drive the opponents nuts bouncing shots, get the 95.  Both fun since the 95 got "decent" speed.  Fearsome guns either way.

If the tier10 matters to you, then neither line is good. Both the E3 and E4 are bad in my opinion. Both of these lines really end at the tier9 since that is where the gems are. The T30 is my favorite TD ever since they took away the tier10 OBJ263. Load only gold and you will still make credits most games.

The T95 has no issues in Tier 10 matches

I am a pretty ok player I have games where I lose but do good damage (thats why my win rate in the T30 is 49% lol) but yes back to the topic it depends what you want. and what I mean is that well the t30 and t95 both get the 155mm horray!!! but the thing you have to consider is do you want play as a wall who moves ridiculously slow or do you want a Td which has a good turret, and good speed. in both the t95 and t30 both rely on your team. lets say your in t95 and your team dies, then your armor is useless cause they will just flank you. the t30 on the otherhand you can run away. my recommendations in t95 be with the heaveys be up front and personal. in t30 be a 2nd line of fire by I mean don't be at back or at front but in middle (worked for me) go for t30 its a beast.

I personally prefer the T30 over the slow [edited]turtle tank but I have no intention of getting the T110E4 since I consider the T30 to be better overall just with less hitpoints, if you're after a t10 tank in the end then the T95 with it's T110E3 might be better suited.
