Three arty on each team, both teams camped all game afraid to move.  When someone moved from cover they were insta killed by focused arty fire.....  Back to frontline for me.  What an amazing game mode!

I remember those types of games when they had the old Swamp map. And it seems to have returned on the Province map. But otherwise I don't see it happen very much.

Swamp was good, the only problem was people didn't understand how to play that map as they just wanted to pub it out like always then blame the team 4 minutes later.

I enjoy playing very aggressive in Frontline but that sure doesn't work in Random. I play an occasional Random because I like driving my T9 and T10 tanks a lot more than my T8s but the no respawn takes some serious re-orientation.

Hah yeah I know what you mean Bytr.  First game I did random after a few days of FL I was really aggressive early and took some damage...and then in dawned on me, I wont be re-spawning lol.

Frontline needs to become a permanent fixture.

This ^^^

I love that new battle mode. Gives my EVEN 90 some purpose. :)

Honestly, I don't even want to run 8's in pubs anymore as I am tired of being stomped by 10's every match. It's pretty refreshing playing on something other than ENSK and Himmilsdorf

I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t. There’s one thing that probably irritates me most about WG out of most every other irritant. That’s killing or ignoring the pleas of its community when they do like/love something.

Well, it could lead to one of two extremes.

It could become a cash cow.  No one would grind tanks, they'd just grind credits and experience (to convert) in Frontline and use that to research tech trees.

It could kill the game.  Everyone would gravitate to Frontline and stop bothering to grind tanks.  Then, they'd realize that Tier 10 isn't really a compelling place to be ... then they'd wonder why they were playing Frontline and move on to another game.

Based on what I've observed in WG over the last year or so ... it seems to me, they (collectively) seem to be paying a bit more attention to the player base ... with the ever present issue regarding population I think that there is a fairly good chance that they won't continue to look a gift horse in the mouth ... the days of rampant 'bubble' growth are past for WoT ... for it to continue in this new market, the game has to evolve.
