Hmm, what? The T32 is one of the best tanks when it comes to tier VIII gameplay only. I have 3 marks in it just in case you think I'm just a happy noob who doesn't know anything about the vehicle.

Is the OP serious? Or is this yet another daft thread trying to get players to respond in a predictable way? Or is a case that much wants more?

WG give two free rental tanks to provide every player the opportunity to try Frontline. I would say that is quite generous! Well, I think so anyway. Okay, it is not the first choice unless you like bouncing half your shots off death incarnates, but at least you can participate. As someone else stated, you even get to keep the crews.

I am avoiding using premium ammo, so I'm not contributing a great deal, but I'm enjoying the opportunity of trying something new and earning a few credits as well.

Can't see anything wrong with that.

Have fun,

Guffy.

some of you guys need to learn how to read within context of a discussion and make sensible statements of what information is being provided not just what just prods your initial instincts - fl is a shameless promotion to sell t8 premiums among other things - this thread is about frontline and how some tanks really donty fit the fl model - like the t32

Actually, his jejuneness is showing through quite stellarly throughout this thread.

I play the T32 several times per day in FrontLine and am working on my 3rd crew skills. I have no issues with it penning using AP, and I work the ridges, hull down when I can, and generally just have fun with it.

t32 is a competitive tank then? noob friendly as some other mouth breather suggested?

I would say that now the T32 is a situational tank. I kept mine back when tier 8 Clan Wars was a thing because:

1) It has the strongest turret at tier 8, and when you have a hill to use, the turret is next to impossible to frontally pen.

2) It has very good vision for a HT. With my crew (without optics) its view range is shockingly close to max spotting range.

3) While not quick, it is certainly not slow.

Personally, I have my T32 set up with the 90mm and about 2/3 APCR - and the Front Line premium version does not have this option.

Adding the Patriot and buffing the Caernarvon has minimized when I would use it in a competitive mode. But it still is useful - especially on where you can use terrain to hide your tank - and the map for Frontline certainly has lots of places you can do that. I would not exactly call it noob friendly. But if you understand the US HT or MT play style, it is more than capable of performing.

Yeah - I would love if it had some buffs. I think it is crazy that the gun handling stats for the IS-3 are so much better than the T32, and would like to see this re-examined. I would like it to have a bit more pen with the 105 - at least on a premium round. But the T32 is more than capable in a tier 8 game. It might not have been my choice for a special event tank like it is, but it can work - if you know how to play it.

That said, it is a bad joke how few T32 FL players are actually hull down...

But as many above have said, Free Tank. It can work. If you want something else, nothing is stopping you.

You almost had a point, as the T32 is ranked 30 out of 37 tier 8 heavy tanks in its ability to contribute to a team victory. However, you had to keep talking and said you would rather have a Tiger II, which is ranked dead last at 37th place out of 37 tanks. You lost all credibility at that point.

...not that you had much to begin with.

T32 does badly in pub matches but when top tier its quite capable.

Yeah, OP is pretty ignorant of the basics and doesn't really understand the roles and abilities of the tanks in question.  I'd put the Tiger II last in what I'd bring to frontline.

He doesn't understand hull down.  Doesn't understand when told what the T32's strengths are on a map with a billion ridges to work, and it deliberately obtuse and confrontational with every response.

Wow, just several games per day and you are on your third crew skills.

You see,  this is the type of player we need to show us how its done. Not only shooting AP, for which I usually get about 250 probably 450 damage at the most, but the enemy must quake in fear at this guys name, because I find that, hull down or not, death incarnates like the Defender and tanks with multi loaders just come towards you, take the damage and then proceed to blast the hell out of my T32.

I'm sure others as well as me would like to see Audie' in action,  just firing AP. So, please be so kind as to post your replays. I'm sure we would all learn something from someone who clearly plays the T32 like a boss.

Have fun, like Audie' does,

Guffy.

If you are an isolated tank, yes, an there are autoloaders who can destroy you in one clip, even if you are full health, with you maybe putting out 2 shots. Does this mean that Autoloaders are OP? Not really. It means don't be isolated - especially in a slow HT when you can't get out of there.

Instead, know where your team is. Know where your flanks are - and if they are covered. Yeah - especially in randoms you can't really trust your team to always cover your flank and punish people who go after you, but if you give your a team an chance at free damage, often they will take it - to your benefit.

Yes - some of the best players love autoloaders in front line - and love punishing isolated players. Don't be that guy.

Yes - the T32's alpha is less than that of many other tier 8 HT's, and so it should not try to trade damage. Instead, work ridges. Shot - and laugh as they either bounce off your turret or shoot someone else that they can actually hurt. Meanwhile, your good vision is helping all the TD's in the second line get free damage on anyone who dares push you.

It is a specific play style. It does take map awareness and sometime creative use of terrain. But once you learn how to do it, you will see that the Front line map has LOTS of places to do this.

You'd be surprised how often you'll run into stupid people who want to deny things out of ignorance rather than with the intent to troll.

Last person who made themselves to be the fool was General with his posts denying how OP the 264 was. He kept up his "opinon" despite server statistics BEING SHOWN TO HIM and WG nerfs/buffs tanks based upon those statistics.
