It's a good mode, except for the purple unikampers who refuse to actually participate - since the mode *ONLY* rewards damage (and capping/de-capping).  Not spotting, not blocking, not damage assist (except arty).  That needs to be re-examined so that *supporting* your team earns far more rewards than just sitting on a map edge sniping with derp guns.

Claus Kellerman actually had a pretty darn good idea:  Keep the mode, but change it up every month.
Change the tier each month.  So, this month it's tier 8s, next months tier 5, another month tier 6, or 7.  Ect.
But nothing below tier 4 (because at those tiers most tanks are simply too slow to traverse the zones).

I think arty strikes are not only useful, but esssential, they prevent people from camping in borderline OP positions, and move the game along. I agree that people will get bored of Frontline, if Wargaming doesn't add new maps/features, but it's still an awesome addition to the game. Many players already spent more time in Frontline, then they will in any other game.

I still like it. In fact, I have bought back a couple of tier 8s just for Frontline. If you don't like it stick to your pubs!

Teamwork is what wins frontline battles, but the great part about FL is that the solo (lone wolf) player can also do very well.  There is a place for both.

The players that are probably having the most trouble with FL are the campers and yoloers (as it should be).  Those are by far the two worst tactics in this game, and this mode doesn't favor either of them very well.

I love how most of the muppet player base cries and complains about arty being in the game..Yet in frontline mode just about everyone is using the artillery strikes over and over..Bunch of whining hypocrites..

Frontline arty doesn't hit as hard as regular arty, and it has a 5 second delay so it truly punishes campers in the open. Everyone can use it. Unless you are playing low tier garbage arty, most arty shells in game don't have a 5 second travel time/delay. Frontline arty also takes 4 minutes to reload.

You are comparing turds to... Well turds, but different turds that are less annoying and balanced.

Most of what is wrong with it is outside of WG's control, the player base will eventually suck the life out of what WG fails to do on their own.

Unfortunately due to the limited time it is on I rarely get to play it but all in all I love it for the LARGE map. I believe the map size makes each class come into its own. Lights, med, heavys and Td all have a roll that comes alive on the larger map. Something I rarely see in the tiny maps we generally play on.

First off, spotting, cap blocking and damage assist are rewarded and quite well.

Second, Claus didn't have an original idea. Many others, including myself, have suggested on the forums since the first couple days of Frontline that the tiers be rotated.

Still a thousand times better than the randumbs. If WG can't make FL work, they never stood a chance at making anything work.
