The Arms Race event on the Global Map starts on May 24th (and runs until June 7th), and we thought you might be interested in reading over the rules and regulations beforehand.

Seems more than high enough given the low turnout we had last time.


 

"A player receives a clan multiplier only from the clan to which this player belongs at the moment of the end of the Arms Race event, and in case the following conditions have been met:

That there (the last two lines) seems like a translation error.

I have a huge problem with this bond auction bit.

 

"To enter the Alley of Fame, both clans and players have to play at least 5 battles in the Arms Race event and earn at least 100 Fame Points."

 

"Players who entered the Alley of Fame, but did not finish in the top 2,300 and did not receive the option to exchange bonds for vehicles, can take part in the Bond Auction and try to win one of three clan vehicles (М60, 121В, Т95Е6)."

 

To get a CW reward tank, all you have to do is have saved all your bonds from both seasons of Ranked and play five battles in a mediocre clan. Not cool. If you're going to give bonds this much power, you've got to give us more opportunities to earn large amounts of them.

Don't see how it makes a difference to you, since you and your clan wouldn't be able to field a team for tier 6 clan wars.

Arms Race: Rules & Regulations

What a joke.  Everyone knows that the Soviet/Russians never played by the rules.  They always cheated.  They always broke every treaty they signed.  I guess WG is no different with the new OP Object wth tanks.

I read through the entire Regulations page for fun; not gonna lie, it felt like reading a EULA. Super long and almost incomprehensible, at least to non-CW players like me. Not a very friendly environment for new clans trying to break into the leaderboards. I feel like things were so much simpler just a couple years ago, but maybe that's just me.

 

​At least the "Lightning" style set looks pretty cool.

It WAS more simple years ago. But, there is no making you people happy. First they are too vague, need clarification.  It's all rigged. Now there are too many rules. This is too confusing. I swear there is no happiness on the Internet

While I look forward to this campaign, would have been nice not to have it start on a holiday weekend.  Will miss first 3 days which will hinder my chance at winning anything even more than my poor play!

So much complaining about the rules and regs. This should be a good campaign when you consider the fact that last time only like 6k players actually earned fame points. I would say lowering from 3k to 2300 is a damn good idea. Join a strong clan if your so concerned that is really the only way to assure you get the tank you are looking for.

I have to agree that no break for the holiday and having this over a big holiday weekend will hurt many people and their chance of winning a tank.  It was poor planning on Wargaming NA's part.  If it had to start on a Thursday, it should have either started earlier or started the first thursday after the holiday.

As a counter-point, maybe they chose the holiday weekend for the exact reasons you stated. Its a holiday and tons of people have it off, so they will be free to play tanks. They probably figure it will give a bigger boost to player numbers.

In past campaigns that were around a holiday, they stopped battles for the holiday.  Other campaigns dates were changed(when compared to other servers) to start after a holiday or end before a holiday.  The campaign in November 2016 had a break for Thanksgiving.  I'm pretty sure the first campaign with the 907 available had a holiday break also.
