Just wanted to check in and add my voice to the disenfranchised.  Still no word from WG?  Is anyone surprised?    Hey look everyone, there's a new Battlefield coming out!  They even have a Tiger tank.   Tick tock WG.  Tick Tock.

have you ever faced a E25 in a tier 9/10 tank?  I've faced a few when they platoon and they are garbage past tier 8 MM, they don't hold up when everyone has max view range, after the first shot they are toast unless double bushed.  They would need to significantly buff the ammo pen for them to face tier 9 tanks regularly and they would lose that camo advantage that just wrecks and frustrates tier V/VI tanks.

E-25 has PMM and sees no battles beyond T-VIII.

The ONLY way you could ever have seen an E-25 beyond T-VIII was if the player operating it fail tooned. Fail-toons are a thing of the past for quite some time now.

If they were a fail toon E-25 operator in T-IX or X then I doubt they would be much of an issue even in T-VI, as they would appear to be very inexperienced with the game.

Allot of these tanks need some love . But going into tier 10 is not what we paid for . And allot of ppl I know are up and hostel about this idea . Myself and others due to other natures of the new game and how the teams have been going as of late have quit spending and playing . So other facts over the years we are tired of buying stuff just to get it nerfed , changes and most cases not for the better . Getting our stuff taken away and removed , moved to other tiers - lines , and were just out right cheated out of our XP , Silver and other assorted items . Now you want to take away the very reason we bought them .

My two cents. I own 72 prems.  WG will do as they like.  Walk away?  No i have invested in a game i enjoy. BUY more tanks that are subject to change?  NO!  Fair or not WG can NOT survive without us spenders. If you feel you have been wronged by the changes why continue to spend. It is an individual choice.  Free players laugh and joke BUT if not for spenders this game would vanish.  So please try and see all THREE sides of this.  In the end it will settle

I agree - like it or not for the individuals playing for [free] individuals that purchase virtual goods are providing funds for Wargaming to continue to exist.

IMHO Wargaming should include the Community Contributors early on in any decisions - e.g. changes to Preferred MM, specifications of upcoming vehicles - so that they can provide valuable insight - e.g. comments from their streams, experience from playing the game for awhile - to guide any changes in the game.  I believe that this would lead to changes that are more balanced - e.g. new premium vehicles, changes to the Match-making.

I have about 80 preems , a total of 290 tanks in the garage , and none of them are really getting played mostly due im so freaking P.O. ed at the changes . And every time I spent money before , something always got changed or ruined in one shape or form . But as mentioned WG doesn't care about keeping the players rather than insult there intelligence and no real solutions ever get implemented . In the past they promised so many things , then patch day came and you find out half of what was mentioned never was implemented . But one things for sure ive passed up allot of higher dollar tanks that I wanted this year simply it's pissed me off that bad . None stop steamrolls , nothing to show for it in return . They screw with my pocket book I'll screw with there's and take my money down the road .

E 25 does have preferred match making, and it doesn't see tier 9 tanks when played alone or in platoons with other tier 7 pmm tanks. You can still platoon with a tier 7 normal mm tank, and get to play against tier 9s.

You can call that a fail toon, if you want, but that's allowed by the game today.

Still nothing? Would be nice to know one way or the other if WG is going through with this scam. What a bunch of cowards.

I still think they think of more ways to TICK ppl off to say it nicely , rather than find ways to make the gaming experience more enjoyable  .. Rule of thumb is the customer is happier then they tend to have repeat customers . But the last two years it doesn't seem to be the case . And once again here we are making another mistake and wont admit it . Preem Tanks need a buff . But not to take the one feature for the reason they were sold away from the tank . They claim it's hurting 3/5/and 7  , but my opinion is , it makes 3/5/7 more barrable .

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

While you're entirely correct scottie_ did say "9/10" and 10s are, as Brother Maynard would say, right out. :honoring:

No. They just announced what they were planning to do, but they haven't told us when they were actually going to start to implement it. For all we know, it could be tomorrow, next week, next month, next year - who knows?

For now, though, I will probably continue to get gold, and extend my premium time, since I really still like the game, but I will not hazard to buy any more tanks with PMM until I know where this is headed - because it just doesn't make sense until we know whether they are committed to keeping them.

Changes are always a possibility with an ever growing PVP game. Changing anything effects everything. MM is what the game is based around so any change needs to be slow and methodical.

Replying to an old post but I find this funny. "Ever growing PVP game"? Sorry, but WoT is not growing. Minsk has assured this and the inaction (or at least appears to be) of the NA server to inform Minsk of this can't even help improve player retention especially new player retention.

Now they sell the Panzer IIJ in a $100 bundle.

https://worldoftanks...3382_1210404_70

WG, you know I am a collector, and have most of your premium tanks (92 at last count, IIRC), and just a few months ago, I would have paid for this without blinking an eye, and you know it.

This is a tank I have been wanting to get my virtual hands on for a long time.

Pretty much everything I have to say has been said:

I have spent way too much money on this game

I have way too many premium tanks already (54)

I have no interest in any of the premiums in the shop or in game for gold.

I spent way too much in essence gambling over the holidays to get my type 59

I won't be spending any more money on this game, as we all know the nw premiums will not be released as gold/cash, but cash only

I do not want anything upgraded or changed

I purchased the premium tanks with the expectations that I was purchasing an item as advertised, and while aware I could have my account terminated and my purchased usage tights for said tank(s) revoked if a random WG staff member decided he hated Polish people, I was not expecting purchased tanks being changed, in essence, in to other tanks which I may or may not have interest in.

I was looking forward to the Polish tech tree and getting the previewed heavy, now I no longer care.

I encouraged friends to play the game as they were able to get a t-127 to learn in without having to deal with lots of higher level tanks, as it has PMM, I am now actively discouraging people from playing the game, starting the game, or spending any money on the game.

I feel disrespected and insulted by the manner in which Wargaming is handling this matter.

I have seen multiple EU players pointing to previous DRM cases similar to this which were ruled against the company trying to change the sold product, and while I may potentially be saying 'the sky is falling' if EU does not have to experience these changes, just NA/LATAM players... well, I try not to think about that.

Wargaming has not commented since the announcement.

WG has continued to sell up to and including as of the time of this post the following 15 PMM tanks:

V CHURCHILL III
VII 112
VII IS 6
VII 8,8 CM PAK 43 JAGDTIGER
VIII PANTHER MIT 8,8 CM L/71
VII T26E4 SuperPershing
VII AT-15A
V Matilda IV
V Matilda Black Prince
V Excelsior
IV Valentine II
III T-127
II T2 Light Tank
As standing offers as well as the following tanks on a limited time sale:
IV PZ.KPFW. B2 740 (F)

None of the listed tanks mention anything about potentially being changed as of (insert link to this post), which sees utterly disingenuous of WG.

This also does not delve in to the blatant lie about the matchmaking issue PMM tanks cause.  The following was taken from VB addict via a helpful post by a youtube user on QB's Video on this topic (https://youtu.be/8IcwR7jGsSU)

Matt:

"All data presented is from www.vbaddict.net from the last 30 days, with tanks with at least 1,000 battles.

Total tanks in battles: about 12,465,220
Total Tier 8 tank appearances: 3,719,187
Total Tier 8 Preferential MM Premium (PMM) tank appearances: 176,185
Total Tier 8 Premium tank appearances: 1,793,644
Total Tier 8 standard tank appearances: 1,749,358
Tier 9 tank appearances: 1,892,439
Tier 10 tank appearances: 1,263,886

All together, Tier 8 Preferential Matchmaking (PMM) tanks make up about 1.4% of the total tanks played. Add in the tier 7 PMM tanks, and you're still just shy of 2% of the total tanks played.

In fact, only two PMM tanks at any tier even made the top 100 played tanks, the SuperPershing (#65, 48K battles) and the E25 (#73, 47K battles). The KV-5, Wargaming's apparent problem child, ranks #398 with just over 6K battles played, or about 0.05% of the total. Wargaming's excuse is a complete fabrication. If 1.4% of the tanks played are disrupting the matchmaking, there's a bigger underlying problem with the matchmaking.

"

All in all this has been handled poorly and left a bitter taste in my mouth, which will likely prevent me from playing any further games released by WG.  Not going to lie, I am happy Battle for Azeroth is coming out in August so I can simply shelve this game.
