Hey Tankers,

To commemorate the infamous historic date that Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy and commenced Operation Overlord, we have some 24-hour Missions for you to complete on the battlefield!

Earn some Premium Consumables and Personal Reserves for completing these missions in random battles, strongholds, or skirmishes.

For all the details, head over to our News Portal.

Wasn't last year's missions 15 of each consumables and boosters, along with hefty discounts on tier 5 &6?  Somebody raid the venda snack machine before the event this year?

The EU is getting a longer Operation Overlord mission.  What's up with that?

Pretty weak way to commemorate the the biggest, and most well known, military invasion in history...

Yeah, I personally would prefer that one not to be a requirement for another mission, but hopeful

We were debating on calling someone to get the cat out of the machine but he looks so cute in there!

Hmm, so the basic, slightly-blunt answer is this: sometimes EU gets better missions, sometimes NA gets better missions. If the difference ever seems extremely unfair, our amazing community members such as yourselves usually let us know how you feel about it, and we do our best to accommodate.

The most recent example would be the World of Tanks 7 year anniversary missions, which we were able to rectify thanks to all the passionate feedback from our players :)

The return of Tank Rewards would make all the pain go away...

:D ... 20 years from now, someone sees this picture ...

Hey now, cute cat! ... What's the story here?

Oh you mean our 'adopted' mascot? Kit?  Well, you see, one day we came into the office, only to find this rather rambunctious little guy ... stuck in our vending machine,  So cute, but when we realized that the little bugger will attempt to EAT its way out, we had to take action ... then it dawned on us ... BOB!   Hey Bob, time for your daily candy bar ... (amusing coincidence that his favorite snack is a Kit Kat ... haha).

... and so, in goes the change ... and out comes the snack and the cat* ... not bad!   Two Kitties for the price of one, and an amusing story thrown in for free.  :P

*YMMV ... this type of vending machine has mechanical variations ... some have locking access doors (that unlock when you buy something) and some don't ... the fact that the cat likely got in through the snack access door could mean its either the unlocked variety or its locking mechanism is faulty/worn.

Slightly-blunt answer is this:  EU is always and always in a better missions than NA server.

The On-track mission is a month long so you actually have the time to get to tier X and not only to tier 8  - And most important players vote for the On-Track so they have a say....

That all the time, they put content on there website in advance not like for example on June 6 to preview JUNE but on May 28 to preview June.

and it can go like that in every aspect between EU and NA....

You would think after the preferred MM BS they would try to apiece the community a little bit with a cool special and instead comes this boring, meek FU all. Really surprised that there is so no attempt to show that you guys care at all! BRAVO! Keep digging! You guys are half way there! GJ

So this is the best you could do? For D Day? Shame on you, wot.

Oh, and there is this. 'Infamous historic date'. You clearly have no idea of the definition of 'infamous'.

The Overlord mission gave a Garage slot away. You didn't list that on the announcements.

You guys might to step up your quality control when it comes to communicating mission rewards and completion condition.

Mistakes seem to be the norm rather than the exception.
