This is what happens when WG testing fails and just releases an OP tank. Now a forward tank is no longer a forward tank. What's the point of keeping it then? It's just another TD that will sit in the back of the map.

Yes because we all know there is already a shortage of quality Russian tanks in this game already.

As a successor to the T-10, the Object 277 gives you everything you’re used to — accuracy, high armor penetration a good firing rate. The alpha is lower, compared to its Soviet “classmates,”

They're trolling us right? This thing now is a worse is7. If you want a DPM heavium you go wz-5a. If you want a hull down monster you go is7. If you want a speedy heavium with good accuracy and gun handling you go........ t-10

WG is literally trolling with hinting at a 440 alpha heavium with good DPM, and the un-nerfed aim time and accuracy, what I've been saying they should have done all along.

The Obj 277 nerfs were unnecessary.  It was in a good place as a better shooter than the WZ-111-5A at the cost of being a lot less flexible on the battle field due to inferior gun depression.  I don't really see why the gun handling had to be nerfed on the 277; It looked balanced to me.  Now it's just worse than the 5A in every stat that matters and I really don't see why anyone would pick this for competitive use over a 5A or IS-7.

Heck other than the alpha damage the gun is inferior to the T-10 too.  What's the point in grinding xp (already did it) and spending credits, if you're just jumping into a tank that is either the same or worse than the previous one?

The exp i grinded for 277 goes to a waste. Won't buy that crap. T-10 is a lot more fun tier for tier

Well, though I have got the exp needed to unlock the 277, I will stick with my T10 and save 6m credits since now it's worse than 5A in every category except speed, and almost on the same level with lS7.

Even T10 got better gun handling.

Kinda sad to see the role of the 430 II being changed, this tank is a blast to play as is. I'll have to make do I guess.:(

nothing agenst the flavors of the month but when are you going to make older tanks, still in the tree competitive. I know you are a business but you are in danger of loosing palers over this

Morning! Sorry for the delay :hiding:

The stats for the Object 277 have now been corrected on the page to 17.27 h.p./t for Specific Power.

Thanks again for bringing it to my attention!

That is a nice power to weight for a heavy tank.  Not sure how hidden ground resistances will affect it.  I still wish this tank were a good competitor for the 5A in clan wars settings, but the 5A is just superior in all ways that matter.  Hopefully the balance department will collect enough data this month to realize that the 277 should get its gun handling back.  Was it really overperforming that much in the test server?  Somehow, I don't think so.

Yep the definition of tunnel vision I was really looking forward to the 277. I wish I had just kept grinding on the Chinese line I wasted that entire x3 weekend on the T-10.

Did the same, now I have 180k of experience in the T-10 and ZERO interest to keep forward for the 277.

Oh, I get it!  In this context they are using the word "fix" the same way we use it to say something like, 'we just had the dog "fixed."'  Now it makes sense...that's why the 277 looks deflated and weaker than all its competitors.  Because they snipped it, and its been "fixed."

That makes a sad kind of sense! Only bright point is I saved 6.1mil. No reason to buy it now.

NOt enough of a nerf on the version 4, it needs its speed nerfed to complete crap like the other super armor tanks as you didn't even really do anything to correct the issue.
