I was playing a sand map with my KV3 elited and stuff and we were at end game, I got 1.5k dmg and looking for more. Enemy M44 arty shot at me and missed, so i took my time to aim right at him... he was out in the open with no cover trying to back up... I aimed right at him, sniper mode reticle all the way, and boom! I [edited]bounced. How does my AP shot from elited KV3 (max gun) bounce off of a [edited]M44???

You shot the null zone, iirc the Priest used to have (still does?) a little strip of 103mm armor, seemed like it represented the structural frame... I wouldn't be surprised if the same were true of the M44

how was his angle towards you?   Did you strike him, then have your shell glance off because the angle was in the "auto ricochet" angle?

Actually, the thick armour was the entire chin, around the transmission.  Bounced lots of people who aimed at the lower front of a Priest, helped win a game because a T-28 aimed at the chin of my Priest.  Upper armour is quite thin.

Yep, something like this probably.  hit a stupid angle somewhere, or hit the gun, likely.  I think overmatch would deal with the screenshot you posted, because normalization gets boosted based on the ratio of armor thickness to shell diameter for AP rounds, so a 122mm AP round should have something like 34 degrees of normalization (5 deg * 1.4 * [shell diameter]/[armor thickness]) (from the wiki), which will negate the extreme angling.

Overmatch from wiki:

If the AP or APCR shell's caliber is more than 2 times the nominal thickness of the armour (Such as a 130mm shell hitting a 60mm thick plate), projectile shell normalization is increased by the following formula: basic normalization * 1.4 * shell caliber / nominal armour thickness. Note that the shell is still capable of bouncing if it strikes the armor at an angle of 70° or more from normal.

If the AP or APCR shell caliber is more than 3 times the nominal thickness of the armour (such as a 130mm shell hitting a 40mm thick plate), no ricochet will happen even if the impact angle is more than 70° from normal. The increased shell normalization described above will also occur.

Since anything is possible in real life and video games are inside the construct of real life, then it stands to reason that anything is possible in video games.

Plus you prolly hit the gun.                                :)
