So what is wrong with your game wargaming? It obviously does not know how to figure the average damage per battle. In 16 battles I had over 35,000 damage. My average damage went up 1` point!!!! Why? It should go up every time I exceed my average. I think it has gone up 12 points in the last month. This game is out of control. Shooting tier IX lights in the side with a premium round from my 430 U and it does nothing????????? What? Tanks that are under 100 meters away moving in the wide open disappear then reappear at the 15 meter mark???? You have got to be kidding me!!! And believe me, the list goes on. It's just one disappointment after another. It used to be a fun game. Now all it does is make people mad and argue in the chats, turning everyone against each other. That's not what a game should be. You have turned this game into a nightmare. No fun anymore!! Sad. I find myself playing less and less every week. It's about to the point of being pointless. Well, actually it already is because you don't let the player decide how good they will be at the game. So why play??? It's pointless!!!! Sorry but this game gets 2 stars from me!!! The game is actually forcing me to leave. Every time I get into game, I know it's going to bring me down and bum me out.  Are games supposed to do that to the players?? This blows. I know you won't do anything to make the game better. So yeah, the game is absolutely pointless to play!

Yeah all the stats on the wargaming page seems to be lacking or wrong, and I also see tanks appearing and disappearing at close range, it is crazy

i can be wrong ... but mayby... it based on how many game you have played in total : 26510 ( somthing around that number on wotlabs.net )and your most played tank is a Tier 4 : T40 ( 2359 battles.. ) and your average dpg( damage per game ) is almost identical to this tank ... all in all that mean you played alot of low tier and to be able to go past 500-600 .... you need to play ( in my opinion ) the double of that amount of game in higher tier.. ( +/- 5000 game in tier 8+ with an average dpg of 800+ damage and more.. )

Yes that's correct, and that's what should happen, because you have a lot of battles so of course your average is going to move very slowly.

Why?

Because Math says so.

Before you post whine threads with a bunch of silly exclamation points you need to do the math and see why WG got it right and you got it wrong.

Battles = 26,478

Avg. Dmg = 476

Battles * Avg = Total Damage = 12,603,528

Now add your 16 recent battles

26,478 + 16 = 26,494 battles

12,603,528 + 35,000 = 12,638,528 new total damage

12,638,528 / 26,494 = 477 average damage

So yes, your average damage went up by 1 point, exactly as it should have.

Normally I wouldn't comment on something like this... but it is such an egregious example of the lack of basic math skills in this country... wow - just wow.  Not only does OP not understand the basic math... but has to rant at WG programmers who probably have a much better grasp on these things than 90% of the population.

+1 to Pipinghot for having the patience to explain things.

BTW -- this math "issue" is (in part) why rerollers in general have so much better PR and WN8 scores - they are dropping all those:

1. Limit the amount of Low tier/low damage games from the calculation

2. Know where they want to go on the tech tree - not so many dead end trial and error games

3. Are not experimenting and learning

4. Know how to work the stats, and

5.  Move directly to higher tier vehicles (Premiums if nothing else)

For the rest of us all that early learning curve, low tier grinding/experimentation, etc. baggage will always be dragging our PR and WN8 down.  One of the reasons Stats can me misleading about how well a player will perform.

Put that Math away before you hurt someone with it.
