So I played this one pub match on assault and long story short, this top tier green player (basically unicum) played really aggressive and was able to destroy our team singlehandedly getting 5 kills. After the game, I hooked him up and he told me that he improved because of skill4ltu and some others, but mainly him. I searched him up, and although his Russian or something accent is heavy, I highly recommend players watch him because not only is he very knowledgeable, he also 3 marked basically every single tank in the game.

One question I want to pull up is, in his short videos where he talks about tier 8 prems in all classes, I found out that he made it in October of 2017. The thing I want to know is, are the stuff he talked about still relevant? Or has much changed during the past few months so much that the tanks he talked about are either now trash or now very good?

Also, I want to know, what type of player is he? I feel like he likes medium tanks with mobility and good gun handling but I'm not completely sure.

Most premium tanks haven't changed much since 10/2017.  I would wager what he discussed (without watching it myself) are still current.

In general, the game's meta still favors speed and maneuverability.  WG has changed a few super heavy tnaks to have REALLY high armor to counter this recently, but I'd wager most players would still take heaviums and mediums to Clan Wars (except for V4's, but that's another storage altogether).

He's a very well known player who streams regularly: https://www.twitch.tv/skill4ltu

Skill's North American clan is Baboons (BABN) and one of their best known streamers is Ominous_Fyxen: https://www.twitch.tv/ominousfyxen

She's a lot of fun to watch.  And her English is perfect :girl:

skill4ltu is definitely fun to watch, and can be quite instructional. If you want other good youtubers/streamers, try Taugrim or Circonflexes. Circonflexes isn't quite as educational, but is hilarious to watch. Taugrim on the other hand, is insanely educational. He puts more information into one of his videos than some youtubers get into a week's worth of videos.

One note: As someone who is past green and trying to break into unicum, there's a world of difference.

Didn't check the OP stats, cuz its irrelevant to my statement.  But to a below average or new player the difference between green and purple is likely not noticeable. To good players the difference is more discernable

I think I may have offended him. I asked him if he'd do a voiceover file screaming "Nyet! Nyet! Nyet!" for use on my Russian Commanders everytime I bounce a shot.

I was just kidding of course, just my way of letting him know he has a  bad [edited]accent that I wish I had.

My comedy is often misconstrued, but I usually succeed in cracking myself up, which is always the end game.
