Since Friday, October 7, 2011, I have played this game religiously. I have spent too much time on it by most peoples standards. And I am constantly surprised by the features that wargaming is able to give us, especially recently. Beginning with the amazing balanced vehicles such as the patriot, liberte, defender, 257, and my personal favorite the 268v4. Then we have the fantastic changes to "reduce the campyness of TD's" just before the introduction of the strv's, as well as "making scouts more oriented to scouting" by reducing their view range. This combined with the incredible terrain modeling since 1.0 with hundreds of my shots hitting invisible ground in front of my gun, and the ever growing occurrence of ghost shells, I am filled with so much joy and many reasons to play this game every day when I return from a long day at work. The latest in this line of fantastic and ever growing list of features that wargaming is implementing is the wonderful base app crash. If you're losing, its like you never even started the game. If you're winning, well its kinda meh, but still such an exciting feature to have in the game, and it really is keeping me on my toes!

If you haven't caught it yet, this post is oozing with sarcasm. This crap is getting ridiculous and the fact that this is happening to a game that has been alive and relatively healthy for about 8 years is truly fascinating to me. I'm not blaming the WoT NA office, workers, or anyone else who it isn't fair for me to blame. I understand that there will be technical difficulties with a constantly developing game but the fixes for ALL of the problems with this game are moving far too slowly for as big of a company as wargaming is. At least give your players a heads up, temporarily close down the servers, block off boosters and premium time for the day or until this problem is fixed. I've lost roughly a couple hours worth of boosters because of these crashes and I'd be insanely furious if I had a premium account ticking right now.

Any word on how long we should expect this problem to persist, and what you guys as a company will do to compensate the people losing time and money while this issue is going on would be fantastic.

My suggestion, spend less time working on developing new tanks, tank lines, and graphics, and more time trying to fix the broken core gameplay mechanics that this game sports.

I thought it was a beautiful post. Nothing feels better than being a 2011 player. The lack of anything good from this game is amazing.

Doesn't require explanation on anyone's part.

If you've been on the forum for any length of time, you should already know that player opinion on the NA server is just about worthless.

As for today's difficulties, WG staffers have already made several announcements about the continuing problem.

All YOU have to do is read them - then you'll know just as much as anyone else does.

What exactly are you trying to find out?? I don't seem to recall seeing any questions marks in your post...

Oh, compensation... for what exactly?? I assume we'll all be compensated for lost premium time, just like they do for an update. Why would you assume anything else?

A simple google search turns up no information other than forum posts on this issue, and I've received no notifications on my account. I shouldn't have to dig through posts or social media to get an official announcement. Is there no way they can send a pop up message in garage when you enter the game? It seems to be possible via their announcement the the kv-2 skin is going away, so why not a message about today's technical difficulties?

Also any links to official announcements by WG would be nice!

"Any word on how long we should expect this problem to persist" was in my post, that would be something I'm trying to find out. I've heard people talking about a day of premium being given to those with premium time at the moment. Another nice addition would be a couple one hour boosters to offset any lost by players who couldn't play a whole battle during this fiasco.

Any other questions for me?

How about all those WG Staff Posts, located on the lower right side of the Community Index - you know, the front page of the forums?

That's about as official as you're gonna get for a while.

In the meantime, you and your wingman can stop with the self-entitled paying-customer crap, sit down and wait like the rest of us.

You act as though you have millions invested in WG and expect some special stockholder treatment ... "Truly Incredible" ...

You got ZERO, bub ... All this time, you've been throwing your money away - you own NOTHING.

Oh you mean the "We understand there is an issue we are looking into it."

No where in that does it say they have a solution or why it has happened just a person giving an automated response.

Seeing astho the server came back on I played 4 games and was having fun finally but then 2 straight games were BASEAPP crap again.....

So I get the OPs frustration why can't you?

You copy and pasted some self righteous crap everywhere this morning about good thing you didn't waste money well most people dont read the forums until they have a problem and by that time they have already used reserves which they will never see again.....So really instead of barking up the trees of people making posts why don't YOU just ignore them and let them blow off steam? Hmmmmmm

Given the number of times I posted that very same response, I'd say that's clear evidence that no one was doing a lick of reading ....

Including YOU, it seems.

Those last three lines sound like socialism to me, and I'm not a fan of that. Paying customers are owed a certain degree of respect and information as to what's going on with the product they've invested in. That could mean anything from time, one penny, or thousands of dollars, its still an investment. I'm not chewing out Bob and the WG office that has to read this post for something he can't do anything about, I'm making sure that my opinion is heard and potentially something will be done about it.

Had you actually read all the staff posts, you'd already know exactly as much as anyone else who read them ...

All you have to do is read - you're not going anywhere by making another futile thread about it.

That's why most of those threads were consolidated earlier today.

And, you don't know what socialism is ...

Wait?? What?? Giving money to a corporation for the right to use something that they own sounds like socialism to you??

Has it occurred to you that they don't yet know exactly what the problem is or how long it will take to fix it??

No, my socialism comment is in response to "In the meantime, you and your wingman can stop with the entitled-paying-customer crap, sit down and wait like the rest of us" because we literally are "entitled-paying-customers" who deserve to know whats going on. It was a bit of an aside about the whole sitting in a waiting room for 10 hours of your day to have an injury checked in canadian hospitals, where patients are often deferred to places by employees where they have to pay out of pocket for better care. And if they don't know what's going on, then maybe they can give the players who still aren't aware of the problem a heads up when they log onto the game.

And yes, this is a bit of a rant because in my opinion an established company shouldn't be having issues like this, even bluehole or pubg corp, who are a joke of a company ,can at least run their servers, as buggy as their game is, pretty reliably. And they let you know if they are having issues when they do arise, and you don't have to go digging for answers to discover what's going on.
