Hey, everyone!

Hope that you're having a great Thursday! I wanted to talk about Kursk for a moment.

If you didn't know already, the Battle of Kursk was arguably one of the key turning points in WWII that featured history's biggest tank encounter. It was 50 days and nights of combat, with approximately 2 million people involved and over 7,000 tanks deployed.

We would like to commemorate this historical milestone with a special set of Combat Missions. This event will begin on July 5th and will run until August 24th, which are almost identical dates to the real Battle of Kursk in 1943. More information about this event will be announced at a later date.

Keep an eye out for future news about this, and be sure to check out our article - Remembering Kursk: Join Our Special Event Starting July 5

Hope you have a great day, and see you on the battlefield!

Quite possibly the greatest tank battle in human history. After Stalingrad and Kursk there was only one direction for the Nazi war machine to go.

@25:51 German attack at Prokhorovka.

After Kursk the Nazis were in strategic retreat all the way back to Berlin.

But tomorrow also the day of Operation Barbarossa.

Seems the Tartars can't bear how they had been beaten to a pulp, even after the Americans picked em up with lend lease trucks and drove them right to Berlin.

How about a T-34/E as a campaign goal?

This will likely be the reward for the first stage of campaign season 2, supposed to come out in October.

Gnomon, Tell the person in-charge of the missions that nation specific missions are really stupid and makes the player base more pi**ed off. From the sound of this event it looks like you guys are going to do exactly that. Please don't.

The only thing I'm worried about is what WG wrote in their article: ''As always, we’ve tried to make sure missions are both engaging and rewarding, however you might need a certain set of vehicles to fulfill some of them.'' If this is true then shouldn't we get a ahead warning what tanks we need to achieve them? In case we need to grind credits to buy or anything, it would have been appreciated.

Otherwise I'm looking forever to grinding for the T-34 Shielded!

I think this is what WG needs to do more of to keep WoT alive. Fun, good missions that have good rewards, dedication, and make the game more incentivizing. Like last night I stayed up until four in the morning trying to complete two missions of World of Warships, and at the end I got a Tier 7 premium, and a Tier 8 tech tree ship, and it was fun and rewarding. It made me want to play for more than just trying to get to tier 10. More missions with good rewards is what WoT needs.

Geez Wargaming.

Between all the World of Tanks and World of Warships missions and events going on, you've made it so I have no recreational time at all to ponder over taking advantage of the summer Steam games sale and see if there's something I want to buy and play.  Frankly, just having too much fun between these two products.  Keep up the good work!

Looking at your T-34A avatar, may I deduce that the T-34C counter's range is "6" like it was in the original PZB ?
