Looks like it should be... They ask for 5000 and you got 5200 assist ..

I think you must remain unspotted for that mission

LT-14 is only for spotting damage. If you got any tracking in that 5,200 value, then it doesn't count. You have to have 5,000 of spotting alone, not 5,000 total assisted.

Well, they should really make that known. That's ridiculous that it doesn't say that anywhere.

I read on other forum that lt14 is just only spotting,if you track enemies the spot/assist dmg doesn't count for it.

Got this online, so not sure about the consistency:

LT-14: The Battle Watch
Primary Objective:
     • Spot enemy vehicles and enable your allies to cause at least 5,000 HP of damage to enemy vehicles.

Spotting damage caused by Platoon mates counts toward this total.

     • Can be completed either on your own or as part of a Platoon consisting of your light tank and any other vehicles.
Secondary Objective:
     • Personally survive the battle.

The first line says "Spot enemy vehicles...", so that's where it states that. Some missions are specifically spotting, others are the all-encompassing "assistance" damage.

x.

Wargaming -- "Welcome to Wargaming....   We hire only the best translators and proofreaders to insure that there is no ambiguity, misrepresentation, "lost in interpretation" of any sort.   Our missions are crystal clear.. "

Yeah.. Far from the first time that a mission was not fully described (personal missions, weekly missions, seasonal missions, etc).    Just take it in stride knowing that you did a very good job, regardless.
