When was the last time the Tiger 131 was for sale?  Do they bring it back often/ever?  Any rumors on it coming back for sale soon?

On a similar subject, what is the best heavy for tier 6 skirmishes?  I'm using the T-150 at the moment, but I have a five skill German heavy crew that I would like to get in on the action.  My Japanese crews are not very good, and I don't play Japanese tanks often, so I'm not as interested in the HT No. VI.

Thanks

The Tiger 131 was for sale in the past 2 months, as I bought 2 of them to get the BIA crews. Not sure how soon it will come around again, but I sure would like to see Otto Caringers Tiger 217 soon! As far as I know, it's ready to go, just hasn't been released by WG for sale yet.

I'd purchase Otto Carius's Tiger if they released it .

I use the 3601H, not the best but it fits my playstyle. T-150 is the best IMO because the KV-85 lacks a ton of gun depression and can catch fire easily.

Luv my 131. I have a three perk crew in it, and when top tier, it just crushes. My first (and only..lol) 1 Mastery Badge was in this tank. It's my main credit maker.

I just got the Tiger 131. So far, I'm VERY disappointed with it!

It's a Tier 6 STOCK Tiger I....    It's not meant to be Impressive, just Capable....

The Tiger's all have a Role, whether Tier 6 or Tier 8, and it's pretty much the same regardless.....     Pinpoint Strikes at Range, not Brawling like the Big Russian Hammers.....        Being a Stock Tiger, the 131 and Heavy No6 have the same Roles but Down a Notch and that makes dealing with Tier 8's a bit more Problematic....      You need to Aim more for Soft Spots, use Flanks, and let Others take the Hits by shooting at those already Occupied with someone else.....

These Tanks don't have Great Armor, it works when Angled OCCASIONALLY, but is not meant to be Counted on.....     Stealth and Mobility are it's Armor.....

Since it is a Tier 6 premium, it tends to be out in the store frequently enough. I would definitely expect to see it around  the holidays this year, around Thanksgiving/Black Friday to Christmas is my bet.

As for Skirmishes, T-150's a good heavy for strongholds. Good anchor, solid damage. Its really only vulnerable on its own or against tank with better view range. If you want to run your German crew, the VK 3601(H) has s few edges over the T-150s. Slightly better dpm and vastly improved view range make the VK a solid 2nd option if you want more of a heavy-medium hybrid. It can anchor like the T-150 and roll with the mediums. It just is not as good in either role since its more versatile. It does make a great flex tank if you want more consistent results across numerous matches. Getting Prokorovka in the T-150 is not gonna lead to a good time.

All up to you though, since the VK 3601H is essentially a Tiger 131/Ht. No VI. Your only advantage in owning the premium tier 6s is netting more credits.

Hope this helps.

It's just another gold digger like HT6. It really needs a pen buff on that short 88. It's only good top tier. It can barely pen anything above T7.

Personally, I think they should give 131 the Maybach 230, since that's what it has in Bovington. Admittedly, that's because the British cut the original in half and it never had the 230 in a combat situation, but the extra engine power would really help the mobility and give it that little extra something that it kind of needs.
