Yes a little bit of the day by day history would be nice. Most of the action was in the first week, but the Russian historians consider that the entire batlle lasted into August.

How about a new medal:

Prokhorovka Medal:  Destroy a Tiger I tank by ramming with a T-34 early variant.

Event was nice, but not everyone has time to do 50 missions over 50 days. Life is busy. Would have been nice to have 60 days to get 50 missions done, or the option to buy some missions at the end, rather than buy all missions even when you already completed 40 on your own.

I did not care for the fact you HAD to play every day for 50 days straight to get the final reward. For a lot of your players, that is simply impossible. Heck, I missed out on the first 5 days because of a long planned 4th of July vacation.  The bar should have been set lower. 50 consecutive days is a LOT to ask for. Only 4 out of 60 players in my clan are on track to make it all the way. The missions themselves were fine, and added to the regular gameplay by trying to complete them. The daily rewards were good, too. Some added bonus premium time would have been nice though, like just enough to get a non-premium player thru the event.

I have to agree with some of the posts,I would  have liked to have seen more time to finish this as I missed 4 days while I was out of town.Then when I realized I couldn't finish it I more or less didn't care after I got the tank reward.I would like to see the personal missions structured something like this then maybe I could finish them.

Tank rewards had me playing more..This is the least I played since game came out.

Might as well post this here as well.  Day 50 originally had 14 days of Premium Time as part of the reward package.  Why did you pull it?

I liked it. I miss the FrontLine mode. But Yankee1137 has a good point. More history, even if it links out to WG site

If you make all the Missions for 50 days straight, you should get a premium tank of your choosing or something similar.  To not miss one day during the summer months is hard for most folks.

  Let me clarify this for you.   Easy missions, no complaint there.   Takes a 2-3 games to complete most of them.  Day 30 you get the T-34  Day 40 you get 7 days Premium.  Day 50, if all 50 days were completed, you get the camo, and x5 consumables the way it is listed now. Right around day 40 or so, they changed the rewards for the event.  Prior to them changing the awards, there was also 14 days of premium included in day 50.  They removed it from the event.  Make sense?  That's what I'm asking the mods. 

  It's not that I don't have the money to buy the 14days, it's the principal involved.  Maybe some people whom don't have the money to spend on the game were looking forward to it.

It gave me a very achievable mission, I liked the historical tanks even if the list was not perfect. The KV-1 should have been included. I was out of town for work for a week but still no trouble getting the tank and three marking my StuG IIIG in the process.

Good Points:

1.) The missions were not difficult to accomplish, and even newer players could participate with one of the smaller historic vehicles.

2.) The rewards were good and reasonable, considering the amount of effort needed to complete the daily missions.

3.) The daily "historical notes" were great, as I'm sure a lot of players had no idea of the size importance of this battle.

 

Not so Good Points:

1.) Changing rewards after already starting the missions is a big NO-NO. It's not like you realize many more players than expected will complete all 50 daily missions and you're going to "run in the red" compensating them with rewards.

2.) Not having a few extra days to complete these missions. It is summertime in the northern hemisphere, and many players will have vacations planned with their families and will not be able to play every day.

3.) The historical notes stopped after the 3rd week. This was something that I enjoyed reading, even after reading books on Operation Barbarossa and Operation Citadel. It let players reference some game play and maps; Prokhorovka and Kharkov to name a few, as being developed from real events in WW II. I'm sure many North American players were not very cognizant of the whole eastern front of WWII.

 

All in all, I enjoyed it. I understand the T-34S was the main reward and only 30 daily mission completions were required to win that, but the final rewards were good enough to keep going and complete the whole event. By taking away the 14 days of premium time as part of the last reward, you're snubbing the most loyal participants of this event. A completion medal should be given out to all those players that do complete this marathon, but will not compensate by any means the removal of the premium time removed from the last reward.

The missions are pretty simple to complete, some are done in 1 battle. I'm glad the reward tank was at 35 rather than 50. It wasn't difficult to get the tank even if I missed a few days of play. I like having 2 different ways to complete the mission. I actually don't have any complaints about this mission. Good fun!

At least every Sunday in the Event of missions could have provided a free day to be used for reaching the 50 mission mark. Where there no cease fires during the Battle or days of no progress?

My only complaint is the "block damage" missions.

1) I don't play heavy tanks ... I suck at them.

2) Most of my tanks are tier mostly T4 and T5 (I'm always out tier'd).

3) Because I don't play heavies and I'm out tier'd ... exposing myself to take the hit to get the block ... almost always resulted in me being a one-shot kill.

I lost 60+ points of Player rating in one day trying to complete the first "block damage" mission.  I didn't even try the other block missions ... I went and played Team Fortress 2 and FortNite.

Basically, those missions are; "Ok, despite the fact this game is about NOT getting hit ... now we're going to force to you go get hit ... oh yeah, and for most of you, you'll never survive."
