Post Battle recap Suggestion.

WoT Devs,
I have a suggestion for something I would like to see, when either your tank is knocked out of the game or your win.
It would be nice to have a battle damage assessment of what was done to your tank to knock it out.
I would also be interested in the damage I inflicted during the battle. I have played games in the past where it would show you where a round hit and the systems that it took along the way.
I envision this looking like a transparent tank shell with the components identified and the trajectory of the shell thru the tank.
I believe this would also work to educate the players in shot placement.
Thanks,
Suron

an replay?
That could be cool, but I think that would require too much coding. I was thinking more along the lines of the 3d viewer of tanks from the battle that you could view like the garage only showing the player the damage and shots on the tank.
They already have the data since they track the crits in the game, I think the damage view wouldn't require too much effort in order to create.

I have an idea along these lines, but I really don't know how much it would take to implement. Have the ability to render a replay of your past games. I hate to make the comparison, but my thoughts are something similar to COD: Black Ops replay theater. Maybe it could start without the ability to cut and edit clips, but possibly a free-view camera and the ability to follow any tank on the field. With this, you would be able to see the trajectory, impact location, and damaged caused by a shot.
The data for your movements and actions shouldn't be super huge, plus I think it goes through the server anyways. I am guessing that there is probably already a way to "see" what happened in prior matches, as you say there is already a reasonable amount of data being tracked. Also, it seems that this would be of use to the developers in order to assist in properly identifying people who might be cheating. The problem, I think, would be in adding the feature to the client for rendering that data into the game view.
Just a thought, as I recently had one of those matches you wish you would have been recording.

They had the data, because they in the game tracking critical hits, I think damage view does not need too much energy, in order to create.
