So I am now getting an nasty irritating clicking sound in my Bose Headphones when I change applications in Windows 10 and I've isolated the problem to the recent WOT re-installation - have not played for almost a year and the computer has been functioning perfectly before this install.

I'm 100% certain its related to the WOT re-installation.

Machine:  Windows 10, i7 Super-clocked, GTX 1080 w/8GB, Creative ZXR card w/Bose speakers, headphones (30 series), no hard drives --- all SSD running over pristine high speed Verizon FIOS..................

there is a setting in audio, you have to use 2.0 i think, if you search on here you may find the answer, i had the same issue and changing it fixed it.

Outside of the gaming world, long ago, I sold high end recording equipment.

And I must say, no troubleshooter I ever encountered was 100% certain about anything.

In fact, I remember an unknown sound that was causing a client to lose his mind.

He was "100% certain" that I was an idiot when I tried to explain what I thought it could be.

Turned out, his wife's cell phone's signal was coming through the floor and causing clicks in his audio.

Which was exactly what I had tried to tell him was a possibility. Something he had thought was dumb.

With that said, WoT has a history of audio conflicts.

GL brother.

Most irritating clicking in WOT typically comes from Arty players.

Appreciate the replies.  I only reinstalled to see if I could spend a little more time on it enhancing my personal rating which has fallen from 5 figures................may just cut and run, remove the WOT application since it's apparently buggy............not happy about this because it's a fantastic game, just buggy as hell.
