Guys,

It's the World Cup and you lost.

Perhaps next time?

Very well played, just like a game of WOT. The best team won and I sympathise with you but its not 1966 again is it?

That match was rigged!. You can't play tier 8 players vs tier 10 players! And the other team had arty!. Ours had many noobs! Wg plz fix the word cup, is unfair they have premium players spamming gold while ours kicks with normal AP shells

Kane is almost as bad of an actor as Neymar...  Glad they lost.

WE?  Which player are you?  Why hasn't WoT made a crew member after you yet!?

As they usually do. Had all the physical advantages of youth and speed yet still lost, with Croatia coming back from a bruising game with Russia. Kudos to Croatia still, got to give credit where its due.

Football Hoolaganism!

England believed in all their ideals that a football match would unite the whole of the United Kingdom. Just as they did at the BATTLE OF THE BOYNE IN 1690.

Sadly on 2 occasions they have lost with an over-whelmingly majority.

Perhaps 3 other countries of the UK shall be offered an opportunity to see that the England is not the UK?

There is only one country that won when France won, Croatia won and England lost.

Spoiler

I have to accept the blame.  I picked them on the WoT soccer code.

English hooligans are boring compared to the Russian hooligans. I've seen videos of some Russian hooligans who basically do mock battles with each other to train. Some of them even go to football soccer games with the intent to start fights and not even watch the game.

English hooligans are just smarter than Russian hooligans because they still manage to get to the match in time to watch it. Smarter being a relativer term here of course

Besides, unlike Russia England has done a lot to reduce the problem of hooliganism whereas many Eastern European countries, unlike more civilized countries, don't give a flying hoot

Is England cursed?

Ive read a lot of parallels between them and the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL.

England's last win 1966. Leafs 1967.

Everyone in soccer pities them like hockey fans pity the leafs

Leafs were cursed never to win the cup again after blocking canadian expansion to vancouver over tv contract rights (ie money). The curse states that the leafs would be one of the richest teams in the league but never win the cup.

Is England cursed?

One of England's major problems is that their top leagues pay the most money on average of any league in the world. This means that aside from some of the top teams in various leagues around Europe (and China) many the very best players wants to play in England (and does so) and this creates a very difficult environment for established English players as they are often playing for "lesser" teams and often in the division below the top one. While you might think that a good player will always shine there is the fact that in a highly competitive game there are often very small differences between the absolute top players and the ones just below them and it's difficult to become an absolute top player wthout top players around you as it develops your skills to the next level

I honestly thought England had a chance this year though because for once they have a generation of players who are playing for some of the top teams and a striker like Kane who are one of the top strikers in the world, etc, but who knows .... curse, lack of experience on the top level of tournaments like these, I don't know. What I do know is that this may have been their best opp for years because it's highly unlikely that teams like German and Brazil (to name a couple) will fail so miserably all at the same time again

Here's hoping for France !!
