Why would you make that map even more of a corridor map then it was before? Why would you put in one way drops that force more tanks into corridors?

This game does not need more corridor maps!! This is really starting to show that map designers or map team leader is totally clueless!

It's in Supertest phase. Emphasis on the TEST.

How would you make a map without "corridors" without the maps pretty much being all the same?  When they do make a map without "corridors" then players complain about tanks being able to hit them from all sides.

I really don't like the idea of one-way routes.

Everyone camps on open maps, people complain. Only heavies do well on city maps, people complain. Just bring back Frontline with a combination of everything so everyone can complain about everything at once.

I'd like to complain about you complaining about a player complaining about people complaining.  And just to be fair, I am going to preemptively complain about any person complaining about me complaining about whatever it is I just complained about in the last sentence.  Just to be fair! :P

Can't say I'm thrilled to see Kharkov being worked on and coming back.  Not when Dragon Ridge isn't showing any signs of being returned.  We need more jungle maps.  And desert maps.  And more of the old maps are needed to return as well.  But that aside, any map in Supertest with signs of returning is most welcome.  Especially when IMO, the staleness of the map rotation and depth of map variety is IMO, one of WoT's biggest issues.

I'll be looking at the video when I get home later.  Interesting to see what is meant by one way approaches.  What, do they have spikes in the road that prevent a return?

20+ maps isn’t enough variety? Download a session tracker and look at how often you play the same map, Over the course of 50 games, I rarely see the same map more than 3 times.

The whole map argument is ridiculous, they fix maps and people complain about changing it, they introduce new maps and people say they’re bad cause it has a corridor (every map, including steppes has corridors), they bring back maps and people say just make new ones.

This is why wargaming doesn’t (and shouldn’t) listen to the community, cause it doesn’t know what it wants.

Historically, nearly every map WG have "improved" has actually got worse. Recently Fjords, Ruinberg and Fishermans Bay are good examples of this.

Remember that Russian ice map a few years ago. They changed that twice until it was the worst corridor map ever. Eventually they conceded defeat and removed it entirely. The original version wasn't that bad, and I actually enjoyed it.

I'm not convinced these Kharkov changes are an improvement and I never like that map to begin with. Presumably those 1 way passages also make good hull down spots, so anyone with a strong turret can just sit there and control that entire area, making it useless. The field are gets more covered locations, but anyone pushing there is still going to get hit from the front by camping TDs, side shots from heavies in the city and artied from the cowardly base camping scum bags.

If WoT would make larger maps (1000x1000 at a minimum with most of the map playable) that were half city/town and other half fields or rolling hills all tanks would have a place to play. WoT seems to only think of one tank class per map and the H&LL with the rest of the classes. If WoT would learn to balance maps between all classes and both spawn points, WoT would have much better maps.

they rig the game to benefit the Russian OP tanks only

that what they design this whole game around.they do great in tunnel maps,

that's what they want

there laughing at other players that are struggling against there OP tanks there making fools out of players that play other tanks

if you players haven't figured it out by now

I'd forgotten all about that map. Wasn't around very long.

They should bring back Northwest. It was a corridor map, but at least it had multiple corridors.

Just change the name to Northeast then it would be a new map to play. Or following Wg's new marketing strategy just enable players to purchase for gold the option of which map we want to play on. Can't believe they haven't done this already because you know $.

I was a big fan of Kharkov, and I find these changes to be incredibly dubious.

Because WAR SHAMING DESIGNERS ARE CLUELESS!

How completely stupid and unrealistic can they make a map that is terrible to start with.

This map is almost as bad as Paris and yet the designers have no clue what makes a map good or bad!

FIRE THE WHOLE MAP DESIGNING DIVISION AND FARM IT OUT!!

It will cost less money, take a third of the time and produce FAR BETTER MAPS!!!
