Another brainstorm: A program like this might reinvigorate "training" clans. From time to time, good players have established clans for training less-skilled players. But, since the only reward is in heaven, these clans tend to be isolated and relatively short-lived occurences. For the most part, good players form clans with other good players, while lesser-skilled players form clans with other lesser-skilled players.

But if there was an income stream for playing with lesser-skilled players, that might encourage training clans -- and all sorts of other community-organized mechanisms for getting players together. There's lots of ingenuity out there that might flourish with the proper encouragement. We can probably only dimly imagine everything that might happen once the reward is offered.

(Of course, there's also lots of unscrupulous behavior that might flourish if the program is not properly designed. So, like anything else, a program like this will require monitoring and tinkering.)

I have less time available than I used to, but i'm always willing to platoon with, coach, do replay reviews for, and otherwise assist people who ask.

There’s a number of good suggestions in this thread. Should it come to reality, I for one would be quick to take advantage. I’m sure there are more than a few who would be open to training/assistance to bring their tanking game to the next step. Hopefully WG will pay attention to this thread.

Pro tip 101 - Never use manual fire extinguishers. Always automatic.
