I see a lot of threads here on the forum that don't go anywhere. Sometimes by the end they do go backwards I guess you could say. Especially when the topic is old maps, RNG, OP premiums or 3/5/7 matchmaking.

Do you mean in real life or in the game?

Spelling is hard...

if you’re talking about your tank continuing on after you’ve let go of the button, yes.  If you’re talking about your treads moving graphically apart from the tank motion you are causing when you drive, no.

I think sometimes the speed at which the treads and wheels are moving is fast enough to create the ILLUSION they are going backwards.

Problems with treads?     This enemy rammed an ally during the frantic rush that happens when MM spits out a sickly biased matchup.    He was in such a hurry he left his tracks behind.   Who can blame him, there is only so much time and so many dumb newbies to kill.

Correct.  This is a known visual phenomenon.  At the right 'frequency' the wheels (or in this case TREADS, no H [or TRACKS] ) appear to be spinning in the opposite direction than they actually are.  This same phenomenon of light, frequency and movement is tough on panning in film, if you do it at the wrong speed, you get this jerking strobing effect that hurts the eyes.

Same thing.

To  OP:

If this is NOT what you are talking about, please say so.  From your description, I got the impression you might be talking about this

       OR

You were talking about having time delay (lag induced) from when you do one thing and get the result.  Not sure, though I suspect you are talking about the first thing to which I quoted and responded.
