This has been a problem for me since I began playing.  The grass is always greener.  Get a new, better tank and more fun will follow.  After more games and wasted money than I want to count, I settled on my "sweet 16."  I give you my rationale in the hopes it may improve your enjoyment of the game, as it has mine.

1.  Chaffee.  The quintessential light.  With a skilled crew, this thing is a beast.  And it is my personal favorite

2.  T92.  Hard to master, but devastating if played well.  Awesome camo, capable gun.  Need it for campaign missions

3.  Fury.  Many see it as a dog.  I see it as the most loyal, reliable dog I've ever had.  Does everything well, but nothing really well.  Its just comfortable and comforting, like an old flannel shirt

4. T14. Good armor, great mobility and gun depression.  Gun is meh, but I am sentimental about the 75mm

5.  Dicker Max.  Gun depression on steriods.  I prefer a historical tank, but the Nashorn is not an acceptable substitute for this long range sniper

6.  JT 88.  Its all about the DPM.  With a skilled crew and cautious play this is a monster.

7.  Pz S35.  The best tier 3 in the game.  Performs beyond all expectations.

8.  Tiger 131.  Sentimental value.  I HAD to keep a Tiger.  Might as well make it a premium.

9.  Valentine II.  The only tank I fire gold with, because it still earns credits despite that and will bounce everything if you don't.

10.  T-34-85M.  The ultimate brawling medium

11.  IS-2.  The premier Tier 7 heavy, with a little better gun depression and reload

12.  Defender.  Need I explain?

13.  Cromwell B.  The indispensable flanker.

14.  Centurion 5/1.  Arguably the best Tier 8 premium ever sold.  Play it like the hill fighter it is and you will be rewarded

15.  LeFH18B2.  The only prem arty in the game, and worth every penny.

16.  Lorr 155 55.  Working toward it.  It will be the only high tier tank I keep.  If its half as good as the Lorr 155 50, it will be well worth the time invested.

A lot of thought went into this, and a lot of poor investments of time and money.  I have everything (LT, MT, TD, HT, SPG) I need and want from tiers 3-9.  I had to cut ruthlessly to get here, but I am really enjoying the change.  I can actually play every tank in my garage every day.  And crew skill improvement is easier.  This and turning off group chat were the best decisions I ever made in WOT.

What are your "keeper" tanks?  Ever tried to cull your garage down this drastically?  Let me know your thoughts.

Look at your Tank's WR%.. Anything below 50% you should consider axing unless you don't really care about your WinRate..

I would just keep whatever I enjoy playing the most.  However, I kinda just started collecting, regardless, to some degree... but I still tend to sell the tanks that I just don't seem to have much fun with.

All premiums, all tier 10s, and very select tier 9s as everything else eventually gets sold for credits.

I always sell any tank I don't enjoy - Including Tier 10's, or Premiums. I only want to play tanks I have fun with, so if I'm not having fun in a tank, what's the point of keeping it around? I may as well use the credits to buy something else that I would enjoy a lot more; or just use those credits to play my more expensive tanks.

Tanks you like for historical reasons, or those that you just love to play.

Everything else is chaff.

The LeFH isn't the only prem arty in the game. The British also have one.

You should keep all your premiums so that you get gold if ever you get/win them again. Even if they are crap, at least they can eventually give you gold. Unless you need the garage slot, keep it (but hey, who doesn’t have like 16 spare garage slots..?)

Let's be honest here, if you're playing for fun the Luchs is the only tank you need.

I do play tanks that are not fun on occasion in order to unlock tanks that are fun or tanks I need for clan wars, which are fun to play.

I set any tank that I haven’t elited to Primary. Anything that is elited is set to the side. My goal is to unlock every tank, so I only play tanks until I unlock the next one. Always bittersweet when I finish a tank I enjoyed. But because I stream, I keep every tank for viewer requests. Just recently unlocked the Cent AX, gonna miss playing the Cent 7/1 every day.

Not a play style for everyone, but it works for me.

I do this same thing as my keepers.  In addition:

M103 because of all tanks, it just feels right, even if the results don't show it.

M4A3E2 Jumbo because it has its moments

M4 Sherman, Hetzer, M2 Medium  because sometimes you just want to go out and derp someone.  :teethhappy:

M53/M55 as my hunter when I'm looking for a tier 9 or tier 10 to destroy and add to my Tank Master.

I've never done a purge of my garage as each is there for a purpose, whether to push up a tree or be one of the tanks I need for a certain tier, as I like to have options in each tier.

Keep anything that says Bobject followed by a number as there is no Russian bias in this game.

Seriously though, except for the Fury the rest are not that bad. Plus Wargaming is buffing a lot of the pref MM tanks. I would wait to see the outcome of the buffs and the supposedly reworked MM that is suppose to appear in about six months before selling any premium.
