48. I intended to do the whole thing and only missed 2 in the middle because my computer broke. I then got a toaster laptop set up that plays WOT on absolute minimum settings. Even then, I can only play arty because it is so stuttery. So I did almost all of the remaining missions on the Grille. But I pulled out my Type 5 for the block mission. Got the mission and tk'd some poor green bastard during the lag.

I got 48/50 because I was too lazy to do the first 2 "Block certain amount of dmg" missions.....

Hello Everyone!

As the Battle of Kursk event is coming to a close we just wanted to congratulated everyone who earned the T-34 Shielded and all of the other goodies.

How did everyone do?  Anyone get all 50 days completed?

I was only able to get 31 days out of 50.

I also went 50/50 as well   so i did get everything on Day 50

Rules were known going in - and the camo and consumables were rewards for completing the mission  - not for almost completing them.

Would have finished this if I had known it was on in the first place … Somehow missed the beginning of the event.

It would be nice if there was an offer to purchase at a discount for the progress made on mission.

I was 5 away from the T34S

=(

50 of 50 thank you for the opportunity, it was a set of missions that could be completed easy if you just loged in an  did it. Thank you

I also went 50 for 50.  It was a very good event.  I encourage the continuation of mostly not requiring a win as part of the mission requirements.  Requiring a win leads to frustration because even the best of tankers (which I am most certainly not) cannot always carry an entire team.  That said, requiring something simple like a single win is fine.  What is problematic is combining a win with other things, such as "Be in the top five by damage dealt in a winning battle five times."

These mission could largely be done in 5-6 battles, which is entirely appropriate.  Not requiring a win leads to some degree of predictability in how long it will take to accomplish the mission.  This is really important for those who also have outside obligations that require them to plan their time in the game.

Thanks for a great event!

I missed 1 lousy day at the beginning and I'm stuck on 49 of 50.  You couldn't have thrown in a couple of buffer days for those who missed or simply couldn't get on every single day?

Miss one day because you have a life and you can’t get the top prize made what could have been a very good event a bad one. Taking into account many people go on vacation for at least a week in the summer it should have been get 45 out of 50 done for top prize. You botched this one WG.

I too got 49 of 50, WG should have a make up day/mission to get the end rewards. Other than that, it was a great event.

This was an excellent event.  I stopped working on the missions after 40, life got in the way, but still managed a couple more past that.  The rewards were appreciated and the level of effort required was good for those of us "average" players.  This felt like campaign missions lite and who doesn't enjoy the campaign missions?

I completed 49/50, sadly I missed the first day, but being a truly dedicated tanker I completed the rest of the set and like many other tankers out there I am disappointed not to have my steadfast resolve rewarded with a makeup opportunity to complete that 50th mission. If the powers that be should reconsider and allow us 49of 50s out here to make it up that would be a welcome and wonderful opportunity.I total enjoyed the event and look forward to working on another one sometime.

Thanks WG and good hunting to you all

24C out

I absolutely loved this event. I will miss starting each morning with a cup of coffee and checking out that day's mission.

I cannot imagine the real-life actual tankers' daily grind of a life and death commitment for self and country, and they had no idea how many days their campaign would last. Wow.

I completed 44 missions, failed 2 outright (blocking intentional damage in a T5 medium is tough when I try to avoid getting shot at in the first place) and missed 4 other missions because I forgot my lap top power cord on a long weekend get-away.

I really hope that WG/WOT developers continue to offer similar large-scale events on the major anniversaries of other big tank battles (Battle of the Bulge, for example). And in would be really special if they could develop the terrain and locale of the actual battlefields and surrounding countryside, instead of using existing maps. But either way, count me in for the next major event.
