Morning, everyone!

Now that the T26E3 Eagle 7 and 50TPprototyp have been out on the battlefield for a bit, we'd like to gather your feedback over them.

Please feel free to respond to this thread with your feedback, comments, and suggestions over both of these tanks. Only own one of the two? That's perfectly fine, you can share your feedback about whichever one you own. Don't own either? Let us know why you decided to pass on them.

What do you all feel are the pros of these tanks? The cons?

I appreciate your feedback and want to thank you all for helping out.

Hope you have a lovely day!

I like them both, a good fit. Not OP, the E7 is typical 'Murican. The 50TP solid but not OP HT, what else do you want? GJ WG, you got some more of my Parents cash from them. Don't worry, they have oodles of it.

I find the Eagle to be very generic and sluggish. Just another Pershing, ho-hum.

Here is a hint. When you are introducing a new line, sell the intro premium vehicle for a month, not a week.

The Eagle 7 is dull, boring and as generic as a medium tank can get. The gun is unreliable, the mobility is horrific, the armor is poor and the credit income is... Lacking. Overall, I'd give it a 4.5/10. While the tank can come to life a bit when top Tier, in the vast majority of battles, I would much rather be playing the T20 instead.

eagle is painfully slow, its like super pershing except no armor to make it worth the speed loss

I'd rather play my Panther which has no issues dealing with the Eagle.

I was eagerly awaiting the Eagle. First disappointment was the Hero Crew was missing.  I thought that Hero Tanks were going to be a thing.   Secondly the reviews flagged it for poor gun handling, weak armor and poor speed. How can you justify reducing armor and making it slower? You can't.

Look, the excellent Tiger 131 set a high bar for this sort of thing, you guys should stick with that formula.

According to the reviews I've seen, the Eagle is slow, weak and can't shoot straight. You need at least one good feature if you expect me to spend money.

50 TP looks like a good vehicle, in my case I'm just not interested in the Polish line.

50 TP is as powerful as Defender when Top Tier.  It bounces everything from lower tiers, when played well.  Gun is powerful and AP goes through most tanks.  Facing Defender is problematic, as AP is not reliable against LFP.

Being mid tier is where this tank is just OK as armor is not good enough to lead a charge; therefore, tanks needs to snipe and duck for cover.  Hitting weak spots is needed in many cases.

Any armored tier 10 is a problem, as APCR is not good enough to penetrate any armored top tier tank, in may cases it ain't good enough for weak spots.  Odds are if APCR can penetrate, so can AP.

Gun depression is a bit misleading, as the turret is located in the mid hull, this causes LFP to be exposed if you want to shoot over a hill.

I don't own the 50TP pr. but from what I've heard from my friends is that it's borderline OP. As in, nearly as good as the Defender. That's already way too powerful.

The Eagle 7 more or less does what we need it to, and of course being generic is both a strength and a weakness. If it had to be made more 'exciting', that could be done by simply tightening up the gun handling and reload time.

The 50TP on the other hand is in the same boat as the Defender. The 440 alpha tramples all over the existing heavy meta at this tier, and the armor is easily just as good if not better than that of an IS-3 for example. The autobounce zones may challenge the higher tiers, but otherwise they aren't going to be bothered. And meanwhile the low tiers are going to struggle as usual, either they spam gold at it or they have no hope.

I passed on the Eagle 7 due to the reasons above, crap mobility, really not that great of armor to make up for it, not a great gun... what exactly does it have going for it?  I’d prefer my Super P over that.

I have the 50TP, I wanted a crew trainer to double dip and it’s a decent tank.  It can be a great tank in much better hands than mine.  I like the depression, but the penetration leaves a bit to be desired based on what I often have to face off against.

I grabbed the Eagle 7 because I love the Pershing family of tanks, both in-game and IRL.  Haven't played it too much yet, but I will say that it is certainly not a bad tank.  Decent armor (especially gun mantlet) and gun for Tier 7. Cons are the subpar mobility, long reload (which I understand is for balance reasons at its tier), and bad premium round.  Overall pretty good.  Now, could you please give us a T23E4?  (Or T23E3 for the masses!)  :)

Did you play it on another account?

I've been wanting a tier 7 Pershing for years so nothing would have stopped me from getting it even if it sucked. The hp/t is terrible and actually makes me want to use gas on it, but I haven't really noticed it being a problem, just annoying. Everything else is great. Good gun, really good turret so far, almost out brawled an IS-6 with a dead tank to hull down behind. Good view range and camo. If the mobility was a little better it would be op. I'm not sure if it isn't. But I don't have that many games in it so maybe I'm just getting lucky. Though I did 3 mark the normal Pershing so that could be it as well.

Maybe I'll do a 100 battle review later.

I quite enjoy the Eagle 7. It does what it needs to, and while Id rather be in a T20 most of the time, I have no issues with it. (Tech tree tanks should be better than premiums anyway). I think people expecting it to have more "flavour" really havent played the US mediums, because up until the Patton theyre really all sort of generic. I think anyone expecting a historical Pershing to be fast also dont realize how heavy of a tank the Pershing was, nor how underpowered its engine was for a tank its size. More over Id rather be in the Eagle 7 than the garbage that is the Super Pershing. That thing is some how slower, and has just as unreliable armor.

Yeah, I do find it interesting that the US used the M4's engine in the M26 and T28.

I had both on my team and the opposite side, they are okay but still not as OP as my Super P and Defender.

I see no reason to buy this tank when my Super Pershing has pref mm and just does everything better. As for the Polish heavy I did buy it and have no complaints so far.

I find the 50TP armor to be a bit OP and don't like facing them. Easier to pen an E75.
