Hey, everyone!

For many, the end of summer signals the start of a new school year. At World of Tanks, we have a little curriculum of our own, with classes in all vehicles (except SPGs).

So, let's talk a bit about the Back to School missions! First, all 101, 201, 301, and 401 missions are chained and must be completed by 04:00 PT | 06:00 CT | 07:00 ET the following day! No exceptions!

You earn rewards for each mission completed before the deadline. Once a mission is completed, the next one unlocks up to 401. Complete 401, and you get 10K XP! Remember, for each vehicle you use, complete the x2 XP mission first!

Example

The "Back to School: Play Your Tanks Class Right!" missions will be available Sept. 1- Oct. 1, 04:20 PT | 06:20 CT | 07:20 ET.

Check out our news article for missions based on vehicle type, or check the spoilers below: Back to School: Play Your Tanks Class Right!

The heavy missions are pretty impossible to do in anything other than a super-heavy.... So GG.

I love how you announce it 5 days into the event :amazed:

And zero explanation on what the other stamps are for...

I was thinking the same thing. I know I could look at the missions tab, but I have been focusing on the personal missions and didn't notice these. I've seen missions completions for some of these but didn't realize I had to do them all in one day (101,201,301 and 401).

Whoever decided to not include Arty as one of these diploma missions should get a bonus, legit.

SPGs are excluded?

Look... are SPGs a viable WOT class or not?   The developers keep saying "They're a valid class and we aren't going to remove them", and they included them in the Personal Campaigns, but then you come along with this event and you exclude them.   And in Frontline, you limited the number of SPGs allowed (forcing SPG players to endure long queue times), while letting everyone else use indirect fire consumables, taking over the role of SPGs.

This capricious behavior encourages the people who think that if they chant "Remove arty!" long enough in the forums, you'll actually do it.  And it devalues an entire class of vehicle that many of us invested time and money into developing.

So please.... will WG just make a decision about SPGs and then be consistent about it?  Either stop treating it like a red-headed stepchild, or just remove the class and compensate me fairly for my loss.

In general, lower tiers (5 and 6) are better for the missions.  The trouble is, the 401 mission is generally the one you need to use that 10K exp.  But higher tiers those missions are way harder.

The heavy tank mission is probably the hardest while the medium is probably the easiest.  Light mission can be easy if you have the right map rotation that let you get the bush spots.  TD mission is generally easy as well.

The 2x pre-req is kind of annoying. You basically have to grind a single tank to get the first missions done instead of going through all your tanks getting the daily doubles (my usual routine). I get having the 2x pre-req for missions that then give you another exp multiplier, but these are just regular complete objective, get loot missions. Plus it's annoying when you would have completed the 101 on your 2x completion, but then have to play another X number of games before getting lucky again.

I was able to do a few with the TVP 50 On Track grind, but as I'm grinding the T-10 now for it's On Track, I doubt I'll get any of these done.  Too much gold spam and not enough armor.

The Battle of Kursk had better rewards. This on not so much. You will probably use more repair kits and first aid kits than rewarded.

The XP can be gained through normal play. The complete ten times reward is ok but a player can stock up when they are on sale.

Also by playing a premium vehicle in the same grind you can earn enough to buy them anyway.

I'm really curious as to why all the missions ask us to complete the first victory before becoming available.

I understand the 401 series as to avoid giving out 20k xp (or more on special week-ends), but why all of them?

One set of stamps is for the Diploma mission, and one set of stamp is to unlock the following mission in the 201/301/401 series.

Today is Sept 5 and you say it started Sept 1.  This is what I get for not scouring the ten billion little tabs on the garage screen.

Any chance on the delayed announcement that we could get an extension on the mission set? 4.5 days into the event seems squirrely...

I love to do the missions, but...  There are THIRTY ONE missions in my "Other Missions" list.

The organization of these missions has simply made these unapproachable.

ain't nobody got time for that

Well, these missions didn't actually WORK CORRECTLY until today, so that is why you're getting the notification TODAY.  The first 4 days of these was just to see if anyone would notice.  Had they worked correctly from the start, I'd already have my diploma in Medium and Light tanks but dem glitches...

Seems to be working today though, so CONGRATS to Wargaming for finally getting it fixed.  +1
