That seems pretty sensible, Cap.

It occurs to me that knowing that lets us put some numbers to things. I'm downloading a game via Steam right now so let me see what I can do.

I am not sure how to exactly calculate how much XP you would need to get from 0 to 70% in your first skill, but the Crew page http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Crew tells us a couple of things:

Block Quote

Major Qualification from 0% to 100% requires a total of 105,030 XP.

1st Skill or Perk from 0% to 100% requires a total of 210,060 XP.

Now, I'm REALLY just eyeballing things here

In the second graph there, it looks like going from 80% to 100% in your crew's main skill will take about half of the total from 0 to 100.

And then 70% in the 1st skill is sorta around 30% of the total XP to finish the 1st skill.

That gives us a total of about 105k XP * 0.5 + 210k XP * 0.3 = 115.5k XP. That's what each of your crew members needs.

The 3601h has 5 crew, so accelerated crew training effectively increases the crew training speed by basically 20% - one crew member out of 5. However when you get a x2 win, if your base xp is 500 for the battle and it's x2 for 1000, then all your crew get 1000 and the crew member with the bonus gets 1500, not 2000. Let's suppose you don't get your x2 every battle and use a bonus % for crew training of 15%.

So now each crew member needs to earn 115.5 / 1.15 = 100k XP. You save 15k XP of grinding if you have the bonus.

From tanks.gg it will take 25k XP on the Tiger P to unlock the Tiger.

So... if those are sorta kinda correct numbers you can make a judgement call about whether you would rather spend the time to get 25x XP on the P in order to speed up your 3601 grind, which of course would give your P crew more XP, or just grind it all on the 3601.

Cheers!
