If you really only have 8 battles and want to make silver, I would recommend that you buy premium time at least a month at a time and get a nice tier 3 premium (T-127, Pz. S35, Pz. T-15, Locust). Play, have fun, make credits and practice at tier 3 until your winrate is above 51%, then move on up to tier 4.

Post from the correct account, my dude. The account you're using has never played higher than tier 2.

The tank they got you is a Centurion 5/1, which is thankfully a pretty good tank.

However, what you're basically asking is "how do I get good?", to which I can only say, "go watch YouTube!"

Giving out comprehensive answers to the most universal and broad question in WoT and in life is tough on a forum. I could tell you stuff like find flanking opportunities or sit in bushes for vision or use your turret and gun depression to poke ridges or find hulldown spots or play aggressively for damage (which is basically credits) or whatnot but none of it really helps, because all of them are just broad concepts and ideas that I'm sure you already know. In order to apply that knowledge you have to watch someone do exactly that. And that's where YouTube comes in.

Edit: On console the centennial is actually a tank, I didn't realize that. If that's the case then I dunno if it's even a good tank.

You play on the console version of the game, this is the forum for the PC version.

You are looking for this; they will be able to provide much more appropriate advice for you there.
