I think I stand with most people in saying that "Drowning is for cowards". I always find people drowning themselves at the end of the game and what this does is it takes experience, credits, and awards to enemy players.

I often find people drown themselves despite being able to do more damage, an arty who's already loaded, instead of doing 300 more damage decides to drown themselves.

I suggest making drowning (and any other for of killing oneself) as team damage, which is punishable after a certain amount of strikes. WG already has a system that can tell if you have drowned because someone was pushing you or not. And the number of times you find yourself accidentally slipping into the river and drowning is close to none, I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I've done it after 19k games. I also believe denying players (who drown drown themselves in a match) experience, credits or giving a fine of credits for someone drowning oneself in a given match to be justified.

SO you are whining that you won? Who cares that you didn't get a few extra xp. Play another game and get it there.

There's no way to determine accidental from intentional drowning....

And believe me, accidents DO happen, even end of game.

So, just get over it...

If you want to complain, be more concerned with Pre-Mature Cappers that don't get off the base and then back on (resetting) when there's still plenty to kill, screwing everyone out of XP etc.

Did someone miss out on a precious pixel medal? :medal:

Maybe a personal mission and it has to be someone else's fault...

Frankly I agree.  Accidents may happen but, the system can tell (supposedly) when a teammate "accidentally" shoots another player or when its on purpose.  There's gotta be a way to at least do something because it is a huge load of crap to do it.  And if I missed a "precious" medal or a mission because someone suicided, it is someone else's fault and its quite cheap.  And you might not care about those things but someone else does and it is part of the game, so if it doesn't interest you fine but it is a legitimate complaint.

It always cracks me up when I see the caption "SPG was LOST in battle". It means they splashed themselves to death
