Just reinstalled the game after a long break and having some crazy ping issues, like 675 ping in my last match :(

Not sure what the deal is as I have played before on this rig (gtx 750ti, AMD 6300, 8gb ram) with no issues and I play many other games perfectly fine.

Any idea's? Unplayable right now as is....

PS - is there only the one server for US? (US Central?) I am on the east coast btw.

Yeah, they merged the two servers. Not enough players. Are you on Wifi? Or even satellite? Anything else running in the background? Oh, and are you on LATAM?

Dang, I thought this was the popular one of the group of Wargaming games :(

Yes I'm on wifi (too far from the router to run an Ethernet cord...) And nothing else running whenever I play games.

No? I select US Central since I am US.

Wifi is the worse thing you can be on. Can you move your PC?

With a ping like that and considering your location it sounds like it could be there's a wonky node(server) on the route to the server, if it was the server then many more would be on here complaining

pingplotter would help identifying that

Drill a hole through the floor in an inconspicuous place (like I did) and run the cable to your computer.  I had massive problems on wifi with 3 kids streaming vids while I was trying to play in the man-cave.  I solved it this way.  It cost me about $5 for the bit and about $30 for the cable.

Do that in a rental, and get evicted. Get permission first. You can get some ISP's to do it as well. But they still need permission.

Wifi, if it is your own wifi isn't necessarily the source of your issues. I am on wifi and my ping averages 38 to 48. It is my own setup to my service and not a community source however. I still get the occasional series of lag and ping drops when the server at wot gets busy. I found that disconnecting and reconnecting often cures the problem. If not then I come back and hour or so later. If you have family members doing significant downloads or streaming while you are playing you can be certain you will likely stress the bandwidth of your service and or router. That ain't good for your play. Someone might have to schedule their activities for different times in that case.

So I was able to run a cable and so far so good. Tried to test WoT and/or WoWs and I get "Unable to connect to the authentication server."

EDIT:: working now, lower manageable ping with it wired in. Internet is still spotty so they are sending a tech...on the 5th >.>
