For those prices, I will just take my losses like a man. I can spend the money on beer.

I don't agree with this being a cash item...  if anything add it as a perk for premium account holders ... perhaps that would encourage more players to pay for premium and be a win for wg...

Hey Domo,

First off, this should be given out rather than having to be purchased.

Second.  Understanding that WG is a business, at the very least, you should charge $5.00 for an entire month of this.  MANY people would pay $60 a year for this and it will make everyone happier as well.  Win Win situation!

I think instead of getting a band aid 222.PNG handout for the broken 3-5-7 MM template it would be in everybody's interest that wargaming corrects the matchmaking to a degree that when we all can play a tier VI or VIII vehicle and don't end up on the end 75% of the time in bottom tier!

It would be the best to go back to the matchmaking before 9.18.

It was not that great but far better than this horse manure we have to deal with now!

Shouldnt be in the game at all.  I've gotten that "perk" a handful of times and I've honestly gotten MORE xp/credits than I would have if I won.

Whats to say someone won't pop one of these and just try and force a loss.

Get rid of them.  don't sell them.  don't give them away anymore.  This is just plain [edited]bad for the game and its literally pay to win.

Daily Insurance is essentially another form of Personal Reserves....

The thing is, in the posted screen shots, WarGaming mentions terms like "Daily", "Weekly", and "Monthly", yet it is my understanding that the actual product is a specific number of uses, and not actually active for a duration of time. This will ultimately be trouble down the road for WarGaming, as they already use terms like "Monthly" in describing Premium Time, and it is, in fact, a 30-day duration. To actually sell a product labelled "Monthly" and have it turn out to be 100 uses is essentially false advertising.

You have been warned.

Does the insurance get an increase if running boosters?

Regular 'boosters' aka Personal Reserves are time constrained, I like that these are based on the number of games. Do they have an expiry time?

And how about making them available for gold too. At the moment I don't want to make a purchase but I do have plenty of gold and would be happy to expend some of that.

p.s. - how about letting me in on the trial.

Right, how stupid of me to assume that WG could not come up with yet another ridiculous, stupid scheme to press yet another few bucks out of a shrinking player base.  What a complete and utter joke.

WG should be focused entirely on what they can add in terms of value for the benefit of their players, and not spend even more time on schemes to milk yet even more money out of their most loyal customers.

From the creators of pay to win tank performance and MM so bad you can 'guess' the winner at the load screen 80% of the time.

We now bring you pay to lose!

Get your wallets ready to roll out the credit card for another amazing game play update.

Global and regional monetization teams?  No telling what they are considering.  Got to be much more than how much to charge for premium tanks/bundles.  For all we know charging for SBMM or Preferential MM could be in the offing.

I'm also interested in those two questions. ......effects on boosters and an expiry if unused. Who knows I might all the sudden become a "git guud ".

So, some players are getting this, and alot are not. So, how do you get it, what does it do, and what was the intention by WG to implement it? I know there are some screenshot by Warchild, but I would like an official statement made on this.

its simple you can buy insurance in bundles for each battle.

100 insurance for 100 hours cost ya 38 bucks.

25 insurance for 25 houris 12.60

10 insurance for 10 hours is 6.29

although titled monthly , weekend and daily, ur insured for 100, 25 or 10 hours.  you wanna spend money on that go for it.

my suggestion just get premium time if ya dont have it cuz it works all the time and not for limited number of time

I could have used this last night, 15 games played ... 14 losses. 11 losses in a row.

I still dont understand ... lets say I get the 100x one, does this mean 100 games played, win or loose or 100 games of losses ??

Its in hours and not games ?  How is 100 hours equal to 30 days ?  and when does the hours start? as soon as you buy it ?? and then 100 hours later it runs out ?  I am even more confused now after your post !

think about it, a hardcore player plays more than 100 battles in a month.  That proly can be done in 20-25 hrs.

basically you have to see what this is about.  When you lose, you get half xp and credit in loss.   So its essentially like a credit and xp booster.

So look at boosters and how they work.  Do they work on battles, no cuz no one would buy it then.  It works by each booster is 1-2 hrs duration.

So WG instead of calling it a combined credit xp booster, they renamed it and calling it insurance.  But it does the same thing as a credit and xp booster.

You get 100 for month, 25 for weekend, 10 for day bundles cuz they work ini 1 hr increments.  This way you can control when you want to activate it.    Its not all the time, or they would have just given you 1 for the month, weekend, or day.

okay I bought the $5.00 daily to see how it works. It shows up under your missions tab as Insurance under Other Missions. So it's not like a personal reserve that you activate. You have to be among the top 5 exp on your team to get it and looks like it is limited to tier 8 and up. So that's a real bummer. So basically lose a game be tier 8 or higher and top 5 by exp on your team and you get x2 credits x2 free exp and x2 exp.

imho...this promotes camping and individual play rather than team play. I probably spend more money than most in this game; a trend that will probably see me ending up with all the prem tanks in the game (yup...idiot collector...113 and counting). But, never ever, will I buy this stuff for the reasons mentioned above. The camping (laziness) and the individual play (selfishness) is bad enough without these very "personal" reserves. Funny...I could say the same thing about life.

o7

P.S. shout out to the better players re insurance (I'm mediocre at the best of times)....we need you on the team. You not only make/help us win. You make us better as individual players by being involved. And, that is more likely to make us all winners. Hmm...starting to sound like life again.

P.SS. shout out to WG...how about another way to reward our heroes. Maybe the same as a reward?

I contacted support about it and this was the answer:

Block Quote

Hello Bavor,

Thank you for contacting Wargaming Support.

I understand that you have a question regarding the Monthly, Weekly, and Daily insurance booster. I'll be more than happy to assist you with it commander!

First off, we apologize of the description of the offer seemed to lack information. But to answer your question, let's say you got the daily Insurance: For the next 10 battles, in your tier VIII-X vehicle that will end in defeat, if you place in the top 5 XP earners on your team you will receive "double" of the credits, combat XP and Free XP. This also apply to the Monthly and Weekly Insurance.

I hope this information helps. Feel free to contact us back if you have more questions or you can visit this link for any further inquiries you may have: Frequently Asked Questions

Good luck in all your matches and have a great one!

Top 5 in XP and you get the insurance to activate.

I think it should be given out for certain other conditions even if you weren't top 5, maybe some of the special medal/awards such as steel wall or spotter.

Hi folks,

I inquired with the team about Daily Insurance and here's my understanding:

Daily Insurance is essentially another form of Personal Reserves. The reason it's not currently available for all users is that it is currently in a testing phase as we understand it's a pretty radical concept and we want to get a better understanding around it before rolling it out entirely.

That said, I understand the top player requirement is to mitigate a potential botting issue, as well as to ensure that your Insurance Reserves aren't being depleted on underwhelming battles that wouldn't net you much profit anyway.

I also understand that the concept of Daily Insurance and its execution might be controversial to some players; many of you have already shared your opinions on the matter with us. Rest assured your feedback is not falling on deaf ears. We will be keeping a close eye on feedback threads regarding this new type of reserve and passing your sentiment on to our monetization teams.

It's a great idea IF the "MONTHLY INSURANCE", actually lasts a month.  To call it that, but only have 100 is quite a bit disingenuous.
