This would be my dream list of tanks for a Canadian Line with only 2 tanks in the line that can be researched in other trees.

Tier 1 M1917/Carden Loyd Gun Carriage

Tier 2 LT Mk VIC

Tier 3 Shink(a 4 x 20mm tank on Grizzly chassis)/Matilda Mk. II

Tier 4 Ram I 40mm gun

Tier 5 Ram II 57mm gun

Tier 6 Grizzly I 75 mm gun

Tier 7 Grizzly OQF 17 pdr gun

Tier 8 Centurion Mk 3

Tier 9 Centurion Mk 11

Tier 10 Leopard C1                          Leopard C2

The two leopards at tier 10 would have different play styles. The C1 would have a thicker welded turret with side skirts, with a 105 L7A3 cannon. The C2 would have spaced armour on its turret and be able to research a rifled 120mm gun. The difference would be the higher pen of the 120 with 420 alpha and worse accuracy but spaced armour on turret. The C1 would have lower pen better accuracy and higher rate of fire and a stronger turret. both would have APCR, HEAT, and HESH. It would allow for different play styles from the german leopard.

I always figured there were enough tanks that could be reskinned to make a Canadian line using existing WOT resources. From this list I'm only seeing 3 things that would need actual "building" on WOT's end. Of all these tanks, I feel Skink would be the most interesting, considering it was built as an AA gun, and they'd have to really monkey with it's firepower to keep it from being totally OP or laughably weak. All the same, what a cool thing to bring into the game if it could be done.

I do wonder what sort of "Premium" vehicles they might add to the fold, as we all know we'd need Canadian crew trainers!

Good thinking sir!

Thank you,

First any American or British Tank could be a premium; The M4A3 HVSS could be one, any centurion, matilda, valentine. Nothing new yet but i'll keep looking

MK11 centurion is Tier 9 but Action X (ie 10) is tier 10?  Not sure that works

C2 is way too new to be in this game

The Mk 11 Centurion was the Mk 6 with an IR light and ranging gun. Mk 10 was an uparmoured and upgunned Mk 8. The Mk 11 would be like the centurion mk. 7 which is just an uparmoured Mk 5 and upgunned to the 105mm.  Would be a suitable tier 9. For the C2 it could be considered too new but it is a Leopard A1A1 with an A5 turret. The A5 turret is also a slightly modified A1A1 turret that could fit a 120mm gun.

Tanks in a line on a tree need researchable modules.  Splitting the Ram like that makes it difficult.

Also, the Grizzly is a Sherman.  The Firefly is a Sherman.  The Firefly is a Tier 6 tank.  You want a Grizzly with a 17 pounder, which means it's basically a Firefly, to be a Tier 7?

Also, I'm not sure that WG is keen on AA tanks at present.  You never know, though.

like I said in another one of these Canadian lines threads.  I'd have agreed before the Firefly VC / 5/1 RAAC.

Too much of the content has been pillaged and farmed out as British / American now to really make it work.

I would spend on a specific canadian tank in the brit line though

11/1 or the Grizzly at tier 7 which would be the missing piece for the Sherman build to run all the way up to the Rev at VIII

And when your canadian tank hits an enemy tank the commander goes “sorry for ammo racking you eh”

That stuff is already in the game.  For example, a Churchill IV is just a Churchill III with a cast turret instead of a welded one.  Both Sextons are in there.  There isn't really anything new.
