Hey guys I'd figure I'd would try to see if anyone can help me on here.

Currently I'm playing the game on my alienware R4 17x, with the i7 6700 and the 1070.

I seem to be getting massive FPS drops and I've been trying everything I can think of to fix this issue. I just completely reset my pc installed all the drivers and updates and still its acting up... though alittle better now.

I have no idea what I should try next maybe open it up and take a look at the hardware ? The fps stays at around 100 and then instantly drops to 20 and I have no idea why

Any help is appreciated thanks !

Im going to assume vsync is turned off, but if it isnt, turn that off. Seems to be having issues these last few patches.

Have you tried watching the temp of your laptop to make sure it isn't over heating?  Laptops can get dusty fast and need a good dusting out from time to time.

Also does the frame rate go back up, or does it just drop to 20 and stay there so long as the game is running?

Does this problem effect any other games on your system?

If you want some more help figuring this out let me know.

Mine did the same thing, before it burned up, now I have a new R5 courtesy of Alienware warranty.
