Here are textures that I have created that are not accurate to the history of World War II.
These are just textures that I have created.
Since I do not have some of these vehicles, I may use another to represent the texture.

Blue Camo
(August 15, 2010) King Tiger

It's hurting my eyes dude. Also, as long as I'm the only one being able to see I don't see a reason to use it.

There's a good reason.
If you use a blue skin for Tigers all tigers have blue skins making them more visible. Same of course all tanks you change skin.

Good they change this in the final version so that you can't change skins at all.

But why should there be another topic about skins, there's already one.

Man, sometimes when I read this bull* I wonder do we play the same game. What is the matter if tank is black, yellow or red with grey stripes, when YOU HAVE THIS GIANT RED MARK ABOVE HIM??? If you have tareget in visual range you will see him, if not you will not see him even if you made his skin flashy yellow with naked women on hull.

Not to mention the red outline when you place the reticule over them.

Nice to see some 'fun' skins amongst the more sober, WW2 based skins :)

Hmm... odd. As I consider what kind of skins I'd make I wondered about making some C&C Red alert skins. Not sure which tanks to apply them to though, since the RA Medium was a M1A1 and there are no mammoth/heavy tanks in the game. The Light looked like a Sherman... but that isn't in yet.

Not too bad.  After all, once you're visible, you're visible, it's not like Darkest Hour.  So you may show a little more while peaking around a building, but if they know you're there, they see you anyway.

I just hope changing skins doesn't cost once the release individual skins.  Would be kind of nice to be able to recognize players by their tank skins.

I want to see the Pattern 32 (?) camo from the USS North Carolina on a King Tiger

Why would I want to have such strange skins on my tank? I mean, nice efforts, but I prefer historically accurate skins over these.

because not everyone is a history buff and come people like funny stuff, i for instance love my IS4 solid gold, i have blue cammo for vk3001, white/blue for 3601, winter cammo for is7, schoolbus for SU-14, cardboard box for KV, solid blue for tiger 2
and i need several more fun skins

Because this Thread is already created i thought i share, at least as a screenshot, my only two current custom textures. Tough i'm working on my IS3 and PzKpfw IV skin. They are far from historicaly accurate, but i like them. They fit me realy well.  :Smile-izmena:

Edit:
Now with : Downloadlink

Sorry for using Mediafire, but Rapidshare crashed two times so i got fed up with that.

Edit:2
Downloadlink updated with Rusty KV and 'orky' Jagdpanther i did for a friend.

Maybe you want to be in a 40K space marine chapter.
They didn't employ camouflage as they were easily detected by dust chucked up and modern detection systems.
so they used colours like in Napoleonic times for pride and friend-or-foe recognition.
Apart from team recognition and coolness.
