Way off topic - but just about everyone who's heard me in CW/Stronks has asked if I'm a radio personality or suggested that I do voice work.

I finally have an opportunity, and have been asked to send in a demo in the MP3 format.  Any suggestions on software for this?

I am not an audio expert but I am using GoldWave when sound-work needed. It is freeware and looks old as below with tons of features.

I have used audacity for years for recording sermons.

I think there is a second step installing a LAME driver for conversion to MP3 so it is a little complicated first off.

And it's FREE also.

Second the recommendation for Audacity - solid, free software.
