Hello, Tankers!

 

I have recently accepted the position of Competitive Gaming Manager at the World of Tanks NA office. This position will be responsible for Clans, Clan Wars, Tournaments, and other competitive activities on the NA server. I will be acting as the competitive NA players ambassador to the Clan War Development Team and the NA Production Office by bringing your suggestion and feedback to the teams as well as overseeing all competitive activities for World of Tanks NA. Over the next few weeks, I will be starting what I am calling “Operation Feedback” with the goal of gaining a better understanding of the Clan community as well having a large amount of feedback to bring to the development team and the NA production office.

 

During this time, I will be allowing clans to schedule a meeting with me where I will join your comms (Discord preferably but I have TeamSpeak as well) and discuss where you and your clan are and where you would like to see WoT competitive go.

 

My Background

I started playing World of Tanks in 2013 when a friend recommended it to me. Shortly after starting playing I joined a Clan, Armored Reapers (AR) that was a sister Clan to Armored Outlaws (AO) later I was prompted to recruitment officer and was the teams main battle caller.

 

In 2015, I started working for Wargaming as a Customer Support Representative, and most recently was the Product Specialist for World of Tanks NA. During this time, I was still very passionate about the Clans and the other competitive aspects of WOT and I helped in the running of the Arms Race Showdown (FAME VS MAHOU) and the Season 9 Playoffs.

 

Scheduling a meeting – First Wave Oct 11th – 14th

 I will be accepting meeting request from 2 groups of clans for this first wave (I can only speak English and you will need to have at least one English speaker to translate, I am working on this for the second wave):

• Clans currently participating on the Global Map with over 60 members (or/and)
• Clans older than 4 years that are at least mildly active (my determination)

 

It would be great if you were in contact with multiple clans (some of you are) and I could have group meetings

 

What I would like to discuss:

• Clan Wars - What you like – what you don’t – suggestions
• Stronghold - What you like – what you don’t – suggestions
• CW forums – Do you use them Why/Why not – C R/D returning (if you remember that)
• Other tournaments - What you like – what you don’t – suggestions
• Events you have run, I am seeing a lot of clans running their own events (races, tournaments, training) and would like to learn more about these if it is something your clan does.
• I will have a Google Survey for you to fill out after the meeting

 

To schedule a meeting please reply to this forum post with the following information (I will reach out to you via forum/in-game PM):

• Clan(s) Tag and Name
• In game names of leadership, I can contact
• If available what date and time (include timezone) would you like the meeting to be

 

After the first wave, I will be adding a new section to the Clan Forums called Operation Feedback to open the ideas to the whole community

[MAHOU] Memesters Accused of Hacking Offenses Undeservedly

 

BananaCannon and officers Night1Rider, _Perfect, Daddy_Griefer and perhaps some others may want to listen in, and perhaps you can play some strongholds as promised.
Friday evening would be best for us, or any time in the evening this weekend or next week as long as we know in advance so we can try to plan around battles, if there are any.

We are mostly using this season for trying new tactics and training callers because the rules and length of this season are not worth our clan dedicating a large amount of time to this mode of play. Last season we placed 28^th and scheduled 4-10 Global Map landings every day.

 

Thursday

9:00 PM Eastern – Clan Games or Training

Our Clan Games include PzIc Racing, Hide and Seek, Foxes and Hounds, Team King of the Hill, Slasher Movie, HetzerMania, Skeet Shooting, and coordinated drops in Random Battles (often with TOGs)

It was great getting to chat with you.

 

I am compiling the feedback I received and will be looking to open a new temporary section in the Clans Forums before the end of the week.

 

I want to also thank everyone that participated, I understand that running a Clan is no easy feat and taking time out of your day is never easy!
