Is this actually out there?  I've got the goofy garage, but no "special" MT-25, and no obvious way to enter the mode.   wthover.....

Only worry about AFKers is their lack of doing anything. Watch the vid, it flat out tells you they get nil for doing nothing.

Does this bonus apply in Strongholds and CW?   does it stack with other reserves?

So, last year we got a decent Halloween mode where you use tanks to shoot stuff to earn stuff.

This year we get a laggy (at least for me) racing game that gets old after a couple of rounds. No real strategy, nothing really dynamic, just driving around doing the exact same skill-less thing over and over.

Played a few games. It kinda sucks when everyone shares the goo, despite how much you personally collect. I just helped an afk get 135.

And they got their reward in the post game stats? There is a mention on the description page that people who don't participate don't get the goo.

I had one game where one guy wasn't credited. It stated that he left before the end of the match... I figured it would work against afk players as well.

It does not. The bonus states it works in all modes including CW and strongholds, however this is not the case.
You could probably submit a ticket to get it refunded since it doesn't do what it says it will do.

Spppppooookkkkkyyyyyy Hello Boom Jockies!

HALP!

(Read it with an English accent for the best effect).

You are a member of the Dark Runners, a team of elite tankers on a rescue mission to destroy all tanks gone sinister and clean out Grim Nebelburg. Your primary objective is to roam the location and collect as much Green Matter as possible while taking out any sinister tanks.

This Event runs from Tomorrow (18Oct.) until 4Nov.

Rewards for the Dark Front include a sweet style to apply to most of your Tanks. For more information on this Event click on the Tank pictured above.

Would be amazing if premium members were allowed to play all these special modes all year round.  Make Prem-time Great Again???   lol...feel bad using that meme.

i love the spooky garage and like the helloweenie mode, though I can tell it's gonna become a slog in a couple more days.  Still, well done WG

I have a couple of thoughts on this event, and I sincerely hope that they won't seem too negative as someone apparently put quite an effort to creating it.

I think that the biggest problem is the interaction of this mode with normal random games - to progress in this mode, you obviously need to play it, but to enjoy its rewards, you need to play randoms, so you either you play twice as much or miss on the rewards. What is also not very nice is locking progression to level a day and allowing to bypass it only with the ultimate weapon (:coin:), which means that you will be only able to enjoy the boosts for the five days if you unlock them the hard way, and also discourages playing this mode more at early stages as all you get after you finish the one unlocked level is a tiny bit of free XP (the excessive green stuff you collect does not carry to the next levels after they unlock, does it?).

And to the mode itself - it just feels like active scouting in +2MM, rush around the battlefield, collect some stuff and avoid enemies (or at least their shells) - it can be fun for a while, but it certainly is no Leviathan event, not to mention Frontline.

OI!!! quit it with your racism!! Had I made a heading such as, "Oh my golly gosh" (read it in a Paki or Indian voice) then you would be all over me for being racist.

No English speaking person says "HALP" nor does it mean help. but seeing as you mention accents.

How about we incite the gay culture and say it in a "poofy" accent??

Hmm a Yorkshire accent: then again no one understands them either

No it does not.

This means that instead of grinding up a nice bonus ahead of time, you're stuck grinding out each day the day it unlocks...which means the last day you;ll be grinding 4200 matter (!), the second to last day you'll be grinding 3800, the third from the last day you have to grind 3400....

I don't know about you, but playing this game mode for 3-4 hours a day (pubs) sounds AWFUL to me.

It's basically another mode that encourages premade teams, and punishes pubs and casuals (what a surprise).

Also, real question here, IS THE SKIN EVEN A CAMO?? They keep calling it a 'style'. The other 'styles' you can buy are camos too, but...if its not a permanant camo then....the event is a wash and theres no real reason to go past level 9 (since the experience increments drop down to 2% per level, and the required matter increases exponentially).

Anyone who has blew gold on buying it, is the 13th day "style" a permanant camo?

I have noticed not sure if others have that the mt-25 variant we are using is slower than the base mediums in power to weight ratio

it seems to be needing a  engine speed or PTW increase of about 20-30 mph

anyone else agree with me on that

also a reload timer would be great as well for us

also when the anomaly spawns have it shown on the map as well so we can find it

those are my thoughts on the matter

Yeah when you see someone carrying around 40 to 60 you gotta help them not get killed.

Did anyone notice the new emblem thing that can go next to your name? It looks like a 8-bit tank, and its awarded from "participation of rise of the machines" is there any way of getting this from the Dark Front?
