I think for newer players, spooning them some tips might of been useful.

eg.  When an enemy tank is pointing at your team-mate... he isn't pointing at you so get in there and attack.

eg.  Focus fire.

Really it was dull, but think this could of been a good tool to teach some battle tactics to newer players.

As for prizes/rewards, this is pretty much like anything in the game, I don't want to spend the time to investigate.

It's always this overly complex and ever changing cookie that's put out there.  And often the goal is unreachable

without being retired and doing this full-time or part of a cheating clan exploiting the system.  What it's left me

is finding out I just received so and so for doing so and so... but it's kind of like finding a dollar while going for

a walk, but it's never the destination or cookie that got me going in the first place.

It's decent but 2017's Halloween special was way cooler.

Dark Front gets repetitive and dull after you grind to level 5-6. It does require a lot of time and (not to mention a sh*t ton of green matter/boogers to level up) teamwork. And as most players know, teamwork isn't something that the majority of the community is good at. You can ammo rack the undead tanks, but going lone wolf against the BDR is pretty much a death sentence

I think you mean "spoon feeding" them. Spooning somebody is a tad intimate.

One thing would be nice is as you  progress in levels your gun fires faster and more accurate. And yes the monotony of doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over get boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg!

I really like that idea.

I have to say that Wargaming hit a home run for me personally for this Halloween game mode.  I'm pretty crap in the regular game but in this one I dare say I'm pretty good.

It's true that the game play is somewhat repetitive but some players actually like that.  Each seven-minute session -- and the game in general -- is a puzzle to be figured out.  Should I go north or west?  Should I try to get other players to cooperate/cooperate with other players, and how?  Is it worth going after the BDR's?  (Generally, no.)  Should I attack the other tanks, and if so when?  Or should I avoid the undead completely and just run around picking up unguarded green matter lying around?  When should I stay out and fight; when should I cash in?  Playing with four other random players is an element that works well here.

The BDR's aren't worth going after, but that's not a criticism of the game, just a strategy that needs to be learned and adhered to.  (But in a 4+ platoon BDR's are probably worth tackling.)

As a bad player Dark Front has been a big cash cow for me, allowing me to rake in more free XP than I thought possible in such a short time, and motivating me to go premium for the duration to further capitalize on all that experience -- enough to play every day, climb to level 13 and (predicted) get a Tier X by the end of the event.

Criticism: I don't see the need for hiding the minimap; make it like the regular game.

It's a fun little game; I'll miss it when it's gone.

Mainly, it's boring as all he|| after only a few games.  And making the most useful reward (free xp) something you have to go buy gold to be able to use is rather lame.

Also, don't split the US server for events like this again.  I seriously doubt it was necessary.  The actual NA player population is low enough as it is with just one server running.

Was fun - at the start, then it became boring, then agonizing. PLEASE never do it this way again. Same old same all the way through, couldn't force myself to play to level 13. various other games WG has done were fun, except I didn't care about the Football (Soccer) - I didn't like the very specialized roles for the tanks.

Splitting the server pop was a bad decision.  NA has too few players.
